What we need to happen is for Southampton and Bournemouth to get cut adrift ASAP

Southampton have a must win game at home to Wolves. If they were to lose that with Chelsea away next it would leave them on 15 points out of 23 games potentially needing to get to 38 points. They would be as good as gone.

Likewise Bournemouth have a terrible run of games coming up
Mental we've lost to Bournemouth, saints, wolves in recent weeks and a massive concern

I hope Leeds employ him to be honest. He doesn't have the experience needed, and it ended awfully under Bielsa. I can see Leeds sinking like a tone, especially if they don't get an experienced manager in.
maybe...hard to know really. He has 11 wins in 16 for West Brom. Knows the players and might be a little less gung ho than Bielsa...dont know really coz I havent watched West Brom, but he's getting a fair bit of praise.
In the end its up to us to get our own points on the board and I think we can, but that Leeds match will be big

Corberan is favourite for the job. But look at his record - it's not exactly stellar.

I'd be relaxed if they got him.
He strikes me as the kind of flashy appointment that could go south very quickly indeed. Leeds are in trouble - but are not dead in the water. This fella would be a gamble. Do they need to gamble? Surely they need a safe pair of hands, not a fella who lasted a few wet weeks at Olympiakos, whatever his achievements at Huddersfield or WBA. If Bielsa - the real thing - wasn't good enough for them, why would the pale imitation be?

Who knows, it might be inspired. But I'd be fairly happy with Leeds taking this gamble over, say, a certain Senor who attracted bedsheets scrawled with spelling mistakes.

I agree. Leeds have misssed the boat with Dyche. He'd have sorted that defence out and they'd have been in games to exploit the goals they're capbable of scoring.

I'd be more concerned if Bielsa went back there. That'd hand them a huge morale boost.

Pochettino wont touch that IMO.

It's also about getting a good manager too though. And that fella at Southampton has flopped, so it can go either way.

Southampton are in Cival war now against their manager, they could well sack him sooner rather then later, both Leeds and Southampton might be in the market together, which might undermine one or the other, or create a choice for candidates.

I think weve put both Leeds and Southampton under pressure, I think the result and more importantly the performance, has put the firghteners on them and given them decisions to make, Leeds have blinked.

No way they would have expected us to get a point out of games Vs Arsenal and Mordor (so far) never mind three - TBF none of us did either.

We're going to be seeing a lot of Guillem Balague in the media over the coming weeks, aren't we?

Well, I suspect he will. And I hope it doesn't have a nasty twist in the tale for us. He doesn't have long enough to do anything but firefight at those clubs. That makes him dangerous.

You wonder is he the type to go in and put fire in the bellies though, though he successfully fire fought at Newcastle one season if my memory is right. Hed likely shore up either defence, but prob bin there most attacking player to.

I am not convinced Leeds have necessarily done the right thing. Their performance level was pretty decent and with the new players the results could have followed. The timing is not good. Dyche had a whole week with us to prepare. Leeds have a game midweek then on the weekend. Can’t see a new manager being on the training pitch until Thursday at the earliest
