Amazing he got any more games after Bournemouth. With a crusty the clown in as new manager we would have had a better chance of beating Southampton!
Wasnt just Southampton though was it, after Bournemouth we lost to Wolves (H), Brighton (H), Southampton (H) and West Ham (A). I`d back us to get something from all of them under Dyche with how they actually went.

So we have 17 games left. We need to at least win 6 and draw 4. We can afford to lose 7.

Arsenal, City, United, Spurs, Chelsea, RS are games we traditionally struggle in.

Say we were to lose against those teams (though anything is possible in the home games - City and Spurs from those), we can only afford one more loss.

That sounds a little scary. Forest, Wolves, Palace and Leicester away are all huge games. We simply must beat Bournemouth, Leeds and Villa at home.

Trickier tests will be Brentford, Fulham and Newcastle at home, whilst Brighton away will be also difficult.

So in summary, it seems that the away matches to Forest, Wolves, Palace and Leicester will have a huge bearing on whether we stay up.

Bournemouth, Leeds and Villa at home are winnable and are must win, whilst Brentford and Fulham at Goodison can also be undone, but a point in each may be more likely. If that all pans out (big IF), then we need 3 more wins and most likely away from Goodison.

Hold tight everyone....

There is a reason we are 18th - generally that we don’t beat teams - whether that’s style of play, formations, tactics, team selection, injuries or confidence - we won’t change that overnight so we cant be complacent - the crowd are going To have to realise the potential magnitude of the game and be patient if the pattern of play or score line is against us

We have a new manager now. A lot of our position is down to the previous manager.
