They were at that point, that comment was about the 55th minute when they`d had the better of the 1st half and it was Leeds creating chances and winning corners..... the game swapped around after a few subs 10 or 15 minutes later
If I was a Leeds supporter I’d be thinking that was a massive opportunity missed. Barcelona in midweek so has to bring Maguire, malacia and lindelof back in defence, united without their 2 best midfielders and having to play Fred and a very average sabitzer who is still adapting, sancho starting his first game for 3 months or so and weghorst who is basically [Poor language removed]. There was no better time to play Man U and Leeds blew it

Yes, who just dominated the best team in the league. If we play half as good as that, we are miles better than Leeds.
Agreed but that’s the issue isn’t - consistency. Whilst the draw away to City was a fortunate and the performance a backs to the walls job, the expectation would been to build on it with home games coming up…we then get smashed by Brighton. It will be interesting with a new manager whether we suffer the same level of inconsistency even thought its early doors

Yes that is key. But early indications are good.

One thing I did find interesting vs Arsenal was the fact that we looked more structured/organised with a bit of a plan. I was therefore hoping that this was not a new manager bounce with revitalised energy so was looking out for the running stats. It was a little disconcerting to find that we had five out of the seven top player distances covered this season, in that one games vs Arsenal alone. So the players essentially busted a gut…..I just hope it wasn’t a new manager / home game bounce - so I’m cautiously optimistic for now, the next three or four games will tell us a lot

The consensus amongst Ajax fans is he plays horrible football, a bad man manager and they deem him one of the worst they've ever had

Sign him please @leeds
He did work with Koeman so all of the above checks out.

I thought it was slightly premature to can Marsch and it seems even weirder if this is the guy they end up with.

I know we’ve all said this before, but it’s inexcusable to lose at home to both Wolves (bottom of the league) and Southampton (their only league win under Jones). Also to be turned over twice by Bournemouth (still their only two wins under O’Neil since 8th October).

Even if all we did differently was draw with Wolves and Southampton (an extra 2 points for us, but 2 points less for both of them), the table would look like this now.

14th Nottm Forest P 22 GD -20 Pts 24
15th Wolves P 22 GD -15 Pts 21
16th West Ham P 22 GD -8 Pts 20
17th Everton P 21 GD -10 Pts 20
18th Leeds P 22 GD -10 Pts 19
19th Bournemouth P 22 GD -24 Pts 18
20th Southampton P 22 GD -23 Pts 13

The main difference is Southampton would already be cut adrift and we’d be out of the drop zone (just).
