Defence worries me tbh. Still looks all over the place.
I agree but 3 of the 5 Tarks Coady Patterson have ony had 4 games together it will take time but once the gel and he gets it right i think it will be pretty solid

Anybody got big Sams number, no address i ll pay the taxi fare.

Truly, Frank loses at Leeds, RS , Arsenal 21points, hell have 2.
Not saying he is totally to blame.4years of waste, crap recruitment, silly contracts.
We have been unlucky with injuries, very very .
But all things taken into account.8games played after West Ham.24points.
If and its a possible if , not nailed on hes got 6points out of 24.
How long has he got, if we get.Diaz, Gardener,Idrissa, Dominic Calvert-Lewin fit, a replacement for Gordon.
6 games in Oct.That 13games , 39 points.
4wins 1loss,1draw.13 +6.19point tally by 1Nov.
Depends on where we are against tge rest of the league.
So come out of International break , no,or 1 win then go on a bonker run.

Doubt it.

Franks sadly in trouble, we are in trouble again.
Would he survive??? 15 points from 39.Doubt it.
If ya going to change the manager AGAIN for who.
Well a specialist in getting enough points to stay up..A way of playing that wins points, not friends, or keep fans happy.
Have you thought about using Google translate?

The bookies currently have us as 4th favourites for relegation after Bournemouth, Forest and Southampton. I'd say that's about right
Watched the Southampton game against man/u saints looked alright, they finished above just above us last season, and to be brutally honest looked better than we have so far. centre back Bella-Kotchap looked impressive.

That's the bottom four almost definitely. Before the season I thought Fulham would be amongst it but I can see them doing ok if Mitrovic continues to score goals, he can't continue at his current pace though.

The other teams even remotely close in odds look like they have a lot of ability, Leciester, Leeds and Wolves have a lot more goals in their sides than we do.

I've never wanted Frank. I thought he was the wrong appointment to begin with and feel like I'm going insane with Everton fans defending him above all else. I'd understand it if he was a club legend or had a great record somewhere else but he isn't and doesn't.

Having said that if he can manage a win on Tuesday it'll calm me down.

He jumped up and down the boxes after the Palace game mate. Think that’s all it took for some to become besotted.

To clarify though I don’t want him sacked because it’ll be another mad turnover of players etc. Also I think we are relegation bound whoever comes in as the calibre of players we’ve got and are bringing in suggest a season in the championship (only one I hope) beckons.

The lesson learned from last year is a league season is about the squad not the first team. I think we've done good work to reinforce the squad this summer, and am hopeful a few more can come in, loans or otherwise, to add more depth and hopefully a bit of quality. Other teams have started quicker than us with their first teams mostly available but as the season goes on it's about the squad.

Bournemouth will go down. Fulham have started OK but their squad is thin. Any significant time missed by Mitrovic and they're screwed. Southampton's squad is worse than ours, Leicester, Wolves and Leeds look a bit vulnerable, Forest are a lottery. It's been a mediocre start but we'll see the benefit of this summer's business gradually. A strong end to the window and the quality and depth of the squad should see us clear. Just need to not panic in the meantime.
The thing is, these things take on a life of their own. Lampard needs time - but he needs to help himself and get a few wins to buy himself that time. No manager will be given time for free. He can't lose every second game, go on long winless runs, and cement us into the bottom six and expect "patience". It doesn't work like this - and it never did at Everton. These are the parameters. Are they fair? It doesn't matter. They are what they are. If he can't handle those, he won't survive at Everton, let alone thrive.

That Leeds game is winnable. The point at Brentford is a decent return. The point at home to Forest is underwhelming, but it wasn't a loss. We progressed in the League Cup. So, there is hope and his job is not impossible. But if we are going into a derby having missed chances to win against Forest, Brentford, and Leeds - and lost to Villa and Chelsea - well, we're on the back foot. Pointing the finger at the board only goes so far, too. If they wanted rid of Gordon to free up some reinvestment possibilities and Lampard put his foot down, well, he is under an obligation to show why he was right. Winning points makes that case for him.

In the end, this will snowball one way or the other. We're Everton. Our standards may have fallen, but we have never long tolerated a manager who returns less than 12 points out of 36 at the start of a season. It doesn't matter if Moshiri is right or wrong to sack a manager with these statistics: this is what he has done - continuously. And he is not an outlier. It's what his predecessors did with Walter Smith and Mike Walker, too. This Leeds match is a huge opportunity for a manager who can take it.

Anyone else think Leicester might be down there this season? Their only hope is that they keep hold of Maddison having sold a few players off without really replacing any of them. Fofana next on the list..

They look to be on the reverse road they were on when they went from relegation battlers to champions in one season. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they suffer a catastrophic implosion. What goes up must come down.

We, meanwhile, are like a dying star with its own gravitational pull. We are constantly aware of how we are no longer what we were, and our process of demise is slow and gradual. This awareness of our peril means we might actually be able to do something about it. But Leicester? They might be swallowed by a black hole before the media fully realise what's happening. I mean, nobody predicted their championship challenge - let alone triumph.
