Realistically no I don't care but what does wind me up is the little snidey comments and jokes and the fact they'll have yet another laugh on us. Been getting it for 50 years constantly. Thought as I got older it wouldn't get to me but I was wrong.
Yeah but they do that regardless, so it wont be any different, id still rather be us then them

Watching how desperate and pathetic the players looked chasing shadows in the second half, I ended up thinking what's the point in staying up anyway?

Same story at Anfield. I feel nothing but contempt for the club at this point.

Fraid I'm not optimistic.
Failure of the board to act during the WC shutdown. Then losing those games against fellow strugglers. That was the tipping point.
Our survival now mainly depend on the bottom 6 losing more games than we do.

People are saying here we'll get 3 points against Brentford, they are conveniently forgetting that Brentford area fine team with a top manager who recently won away at Manchester City.

Same people will also reckon that Bournemouth are already relegated though they are on the same points as us:

And they recently got a draw at Arsenal. They're no mugs. I honestly can't see us picking up 3 points from that game.

Goals will be the issue as we all know. Criminal that board didn't even get a few journeymen players on short contracts who can add ten goals between them from the bench.

The previous 5 seasons has 31 goals for and 28 goals for as the lowest to not get relegated. Normally its around 34+ GF. We'd 11 more goals scored at the same point last season and we scored 43 goals last season, a number we've no chance of hitting this season. That could be what relegates us unless we can grind out enough 1 nil wins which Dyche could pull off tbf.

Need Calvert Lewin back and fit for a period of at least 10 games if we've any hope.

We aren't down and we aren't doomed, but we are massively odds on to go down, and we are in a significantly worse position than last year. We also won two unexpected home games last season in the run in against Chelsea and United. We will need to win even more unexpected points this season to have a chance.

Sunday is massive. It's not must win, but it's definitely must not lose. If we fail to get something, I think we need a miracle because it's another rival team who will almost certainly be out of our reach.

I always deep down expected us to get out of it last year. My heart still thinks we could do it, but my head says we aren't good enough. We have little or no margin for error left. Every game against a rival must be a positive result, and every home game must be at least a draw. It's possible but a huge ask.
This exactly for me. While we were in an even worse position mathematically with just a few games left last year, I still had real belief that we would pull out of it.

But this time it feels different, because we hardly have a player who could score if his life depended on it, and for the club as a whole, it kind of does.

As that dunce of an owner would say, that was an expected defeat. Lose against Forest and things will be looking ominous indeed.

Our only hope of survival is to play ultra defensive, nick a goal and then just try and hold out and scrape some wins. It's very hard to win games of football though, when you don't have strikers!
