We will have played 16 league matches by the Nov World Cup break. Think we will need to be on 40 point pace by then or Frank will ( rightly or wrongly so ) be let go. Some tough matches in there but Oct is huge for us ...need to be on 16-20 points by the break imo.
That is very very optimstic.
Hope I'm wrong but this looks far more likely:
Leeds away- draw
RS home- Lose
Arsenal away- Lose
West Ham home- feels a 0-0/1-1 type of game with how they've started the season so draw
Southampton away- Possible win if get 2-3 more decent signings in. I have them as bottom 3.
Man United- Could've done with playing them now given they've dropped Maguire and Shaw and will be starting Casemiro so looking a competent team again. Will be optimstic and go draw.
Spurs away- Won't be 5-0 but nothing here with what they have in attack.
Newcastle away- Another defeat.
Palace home- Obviously beat them when it really mattered end of last season but wouldn't like to go 2-0 down again. Possible win but they've already got a 1-1 at RS and were 2 up at Man. City so started season fine. Draw.
Fulham away- Started the season well, have Mitrovic bang in form and Silva will obviously be well up for the two games so I can see that being a defeat.
Leicester home- Who knows what their squad or manager will be in two months time, will go for a win given they seem to be in a bit of unsettled state.
Bournemouth away- Win. Because you simply have to be beating Bournemouth to be staying up.
So from that I have grand total of 15 points so a bit off 20 there although roughly a point a game.
More I look at those fixtures I'd be surprised if Frank makes it past Spurs away as run of Palace, Fulham, Leicester and Bournemouth is actually pretty good set of fixtures to give a new manager so you could get a bounce given the summer signings will have had two months to settle in by then.
