TBH, the only goal from westham is quite lucky. I dont think they are good at this moment.

Hasnt been a great start but a win vs leeds table looks alot different. I get some people not happy with the start i feel the same. But it is 4 games in i just hope thte results have proven to the board that we need to bring more in before the deadline.
I am just thinking ahead four games 2away, our away record. The two home games the numbrr of new players, new team.
Look at us, three at the back, Coady, Towkowski Patterson.Amadou, maybe Idrissa,Gallagher. No AG.
Then Broja, Maupey New!!! Oh yep ONeil ??
This is a new outfit, Diaz.
Toughest League in the world, look at us.
JC could be coaching Pep, Carlo it takes a few weeks.
So we i guess what ever happens it will be what it will be.
Its pretty depressing, annoying.

We just have to accept it, get behind our New Team from say West Ham at home, Oct.Oct we will judge Franks team, maybe even Nov.
If we aint so far adrift.Could be to.late to much to do.

Well we just escaped it last season and this team looks incapable of scoring, so what do you think?

Just listening to Max Rushdon on Talksport, said we looked like a championship side yesterday who took the lead at a premier league ground then tried to hang on.
I think our fans always lack of patient.
I know what they worry but it is still the time for us to back the team and manager. If we did sack FL, who would be hired? Rooney? I dont think we can hire someone who can be supported by most of us. Lets try to trust the board and FL.

100 % agree it is annoying esp the wait for the club to bring in a striker, will be tough games but i really hope we can get more players fit for tuesday. And finally get maupay in to start

We will have played 16 league matches by the Nov World Cup break. Think we will need to be on 40 point pace by then or Frank will ( rightly or wrongly so ) be let go. Some tough matches in there but Oct is huge for us ...need to be on 16-20 points by the break imo.

If I remember correctly, we lost the first 2 games then picked up a win and a draw in our first four games of 84-85…I also seem to remember we did ok that year……

That is very very optimstic.

Hope I'm wrong but this looks far more likely:

Leeds away- draw

RS home- Lose

Arsenal away- Lose

West Ham home- feels a 0-0/1-1 type of game with how they've started the season so draw

Southampton away- Possible win if get 2-3 more decent signings in. I have them as bottom 3.

Man United- Could've done with playing them now given they've dropped Maguire and Shaw and will be starting Casemiro so looking a competent team again. Will be optimstic and go draw.

Spurs away- Won't be 5-0 but nothing here with what they have in attack.

Newcastle away- Another defeat.

Palace home- Obviously beat them when it really mattered end of last season but wouldn't like to go 2-0 down again. Possible win but they've already got a 1-1 at RS and were 2 up at Man. City so started season fine. Draw.

Fulham away- Started the season well, have Mitrovic bang in form and Silva will obviously be well up for the two games so I can see that being a defeat.

Leicester home- Who knows what their squad or manager will be in two months time, will go for a win given they seem to be in a bit of unsettled state.

Bournemouth away- Win. Because you simply have to be beating Bournemouth to be staying up.

So from that I have grand total of 15 points so a bit off 20 there although roughly a point a game.

More I look at those fixtures I'd be surprised if Frank makes it past Spurs away as run of Palace, Fulham, Leicester and Bournemouth is actually pretty good set of fixtures to give a new manager so you could get a bounce given the summer signings will have had two months to settle in by then.

Slow down, type your sentences.

Here we go again, a permutation thread. Too early to tell, nobody expect us to win against utd and Chelsea at the closing stage last season so…..

I've come to terms with relegation already to be honest.

I think we've done a pretty good job at lowering our wage bill, by the end of next season it should be lower again. The Championship is pretty tough going, games twice a week every week - but I feel like we have enough in our U21 system that we can easily stay competitive whilst we wait for BMD to be finished.

UTFT

Leicester could be in trouble too. Vardy is getting old and misses a bunch of games and their defense is horrific, especially after letting the goalkeeper go.
