This. I’m not sure what some people were expecting Dyche to be able to do. We’re much more organised now and have picked up 2 wins and a draw in 6 games. We were in utter free fall under Lampard. Dyche has built some solid foundations in not much time.

We're a team that's fighting. And we've had 3 out of 6 of Dyche's games so far that any team in the relegation zone would havre gotten nothing from.

The manager has got them buying in to everyone being responsible for scoring a goal. And, if we get Gray or Simms or Maupay - or even a returning Calvert-Lewin - getting a run of form and goals, we can get our way out of this a lot more easily.

I can only judge on what I've seen so far: overall this team look well organised and motivated under Dyche.

The other teams just above and below us would have wanted Forest to put us away today, but we showed them we wont go down easily. They know we'll fight and scrap for every point and it'll be them who need to win games at a rate they've not been able to achieve in the last few months.

Beat Brentford and get out of the bottom three and let's see how our rivals react to that.

These last 2 seasons have been very testing and tiresome but I believe the next 2/3 seasons are going to be even harder, no doubt about it we need to offload majority of the squad especially when we go down due to ridiculous wages, then we need to be able to adapt to the championship and the late night mid week fixtures while trying to build a squad to get back into the premier league. Dyche wants the effort from the players which they put in the first half chasing and all over the pitch he then leaves it until 88 minutes to bring fresh legs on, also bringing holgate on to play midfield last game then leaving it this late for changes but in saying that I think it’s a case of his hands are tied with how pathetic our squad really is honestly can’t believe we have spent money had different managers and how poor we have become this is definitely a new low for me last season was but 2 years in a row I don’t know how yo-yo clubs like Norwich fans do it credit to them and our fans for what we have put up with last few years yet still fill the ground every week and away games without us fans there would be no games or ridiculous wages, tv deals.

So we`ve got 5 wins in 26 and the all of a sudden we are going to win a quarter of all our remaining games and only lose 5 when we`ve lost 14 of the last 26...

Pack it in. You, me and every other Evertonian knows that is not happening when we only have 4 more games against teams in the bottom half, 3 of those are away.

Looking murky, at least last season we could see the winnable games coming up, this season you cant, pretty dire and ultimately will end in relegation.

No way back from here....

Calm yourself, you’re becoming hysterical.

We don’t know how the season win pan out. Let’s wait until we’re mathematically down before crying.

I don’t think it’s too much to ask to hold a lead twice we had in a game, against a team that’s barely above us. We’re running out of time. We’ve won 5 games all year but people are acting like we can look ahead to games and suggest “oh we should win that one.”
We can certainly ask that of Everton, but let's not forget that Forest haven't been beaten at home since September, and they've played a lot better teams than Everton in that time.

Before today, I thought if we get 4 points from Forest and Brentford we set our rivals in this relegation fight a bit of a headache. If we beat Brentford next week the three immediately above us look shaky and vulnerable if they get nothing or a point themselves.

There's 12 big games of football for us. We're in the bottom three by virtue of our GD. It's all to play for. If we get out of the bottom three next week we get a real boost.

This isn't even a promotion-capable squad as well. Shocking. If we start the season with 3/4 of this squad we'll finish around mid-table next season. We'd be better selling Onana and investing the money in players like Aaron Mooy and Jordan Rhodes.

I’m not giving up, but I think it’s all too little, too late. We’ve been managed so badly as a club that we are practically asking to be relegated. Persisting with Lampard for so long and then further weakening a relegation threatened squad in January (when every other club strengthened) is not going to go unpunished imo.

I’m convinced we’re going down now. This group of players just don’t have it in them to keep us up.
I can understand if you'd said that after the last 2 results, but that performance today and the result should hammer home to anyone that we're right in this relegation fight - and in a good way.

Forest have been excellent at home since the end of September - unbeaten. They beat Liverpool there and drew with Chelsea and City. To believe a 2-2 draw with them is anything other than a well earned and valuable point is nonsensical to me.

You'll see how valuable that point is next week if we beat Brentford.

Say it most weeks now but as the games tick down. Have to beat Brentford.
Feels like two points dropped today. I didnt think it before the game. But 2-1 with 15 mins to go. Got to bag them. Two midfielders bursting forward with our track record of sloppy possession cost us the two points.

Sincerely hope you’re right mate.

Wouldn't go that far mate. I think we were the better team today but the lack of 1-2 forwards is really hampering us.

DCL being a sicknote and Lampard draining the side of all confidence / awful tactics have put us in the meat grinder.

20 minutes almost with time added on.

Forest away is a tough fixture. They've got 26 points all season and 20 of those have been at home.
