Simple answer is short of some miracle we aren't. Best we can hope for is 3 teams to do worse than us i which is possible but i am not holding my breath. Other teams seem to thrive from our shortcomings. I expect us to be relegated but just hope that we get one final let off and somehow stay up. Not that we deserve to with the way the club has been mismanaged.

As i just posted. Gueye and onana bursting forward with our track record, and esp doucoure, of sloppy passing, is in play management. We needed to protect the back four at that stage. I dont think they were going to create anything. It was an Everton error that cost the two points. Which makes it frustrating.

You just cant deny a home team from creating chances in a game when they're chasing it.

In any case, they had a good bit of work to do to get the ball in the net after Doucoure gave it to them. Johnson should never have been feed a ball through our back four and he should never have had the time to shuffle it to his left and get a shot off.

They're a different beast at Old Trafford I'm afraid. Best effort will be to try to make it as competitive as the cup match which was an o.k effort.

Was a missed opportunity at Goodison at 1-0 up and to me the season really turned on losing that game especially with Ronaldo looking like he was 28 again sprinting away from the CBs.

There is creating chances and creating chances Dave. As the clock ticked down i think all they had left was huff n puff.
It was an awful error and choice from 3 Everton midfielders that put them in a great position right on our box.
Error dave. Very costly.
 
What is the harder set of fixtures? Last season or this season?
