What's annoying is teams around us having a game in hand, meaning we could go bottom having played a game more

It's getting harder each season as our squad gets worse each year whilst other teams generally get better

There is creating chances and creating chances Dave. As the clock ticked down i think all they had left was huff n puff.
It was an awful error and choice from 3 Everton midfielders that put them in a great position right on our box.

Of course. However, if we'd conceded when sitting back there'd be cries of "we should have been more positive". I think the manager has set the team a task to get the ball in the opposition box as much as possible and get goals.

IMO that was a morale boosting point. It sets us up for a mammoth game against Brentford at home. If we've taken 4 points from this game and that game then we'd be out of the relegation spots and on roughly 1.5 points per game since Dyche took over. Carry that form through the final 11 games and we'd be on course for about 38 points.

I actually feel less confident after today. Apart from Johnson, Forest were really bad and offered very little and we still couldn't beat them. Brentford will be a harder game.

You either accept that a point away to a very handy home team is good or you dont. The game was on the half hour mark when we were last ahead.

In the context of the weekend's fixtures, that was a very good point.

Forest are not a handy team. They have won one of their last nine games, home and away. We have lost far too much ground to be generous to our opponents now.

They haven’t lost at home since September and have taken points off city, liverpool etc.

Like you said though - our previously shambolic performances means we could ill afford to not win that especially as the game panned out.

It’s the villa game that really hurts though - if we’d have won that then all of a sudden it’s a great start from dyche.

Never mind the fixture list it all depends on whether Calvert Lewin is available or not.

He plays in most of the games = seriously decent chance of staying up
He doesn't play in most of the games = the likelihood is that we will go down
