Leicester getting ripped apart by Brighton and look shambolic.

I appreciate that Brighton play great football but don't usually score many.

Despite selling Fofana and not being able to play Faes they don't even have Soyunco or Vestergard on the bench!

Would be wonderful to see Brenda take Leicester down.
Massive "us last season" vibe off Leicester.

Leicester look awful but you’d imagine they will turn it around as they have a lot of very good players. They absolutely aren’t playing as team at the minute though.

Although squad looks good on paper the reality is something is not quite right there.
could be too late in January by the looks of things
Don't think the board will have the patience and Brenda will be gone if he can't turn it around by the end of the month.

Obviously its a long season and things can change radically if a team gets a run of form. But thats hard for bad teams. To be honest, so far Bournemouth and Forest look like absolute candidates to be the Norwich of this season. I think its a guarantee 1 of them go down, and possibility both. Now I know Bournemouth is on 7, but thats beating a very bad Villa team that also looks to be in trouble, and a gift from Forest. Otherwise they look terrible. For Forest, their multitude of signings at least gives them a chance if they were decent and they do gel at some point this season.

After that I have to say it looks like LCFC are in real trouble, after their first 45 minutes of the season its been zero points. They basically did nothing to improve the team this past transfer windows, maybe lowest spenders in the league by far.

I think the reality is if we lose to Arsenal and United in the coming weeks and get draws (or worse) against the likes of West Ham and Southampton, then we are staring down the barrel again. Because we have failed to win any of the games we were competitive in so far, we have no margin of error on the table to absorb a poorish run between now and the World Cup. So, we do actually need to start translating competitive performances into a few wins.

People are on a bit of a high after the draw yesterday and the solid, if slow, progress points-wise in recent weeks, but a few losses leave us at the bottom of the table. That brings its own pressure. The danger is a spiral.
I think we will surprise a few this season if we have that midfield from yesterday performing, they look to me to be able to outwork most. But goals are key now, obviously. We need to ensure end product.

I’m more optimistic than I was but I am still very much on the fence when it comes to us this season. If we don’t start putting some wins together it could be extremely difficult, as no side are really a given this season. Even looking at Leicester, yes they look terrible now but having sold Fofana I fancy them to spend their way out of trouble in January like Newcastle did.

We should be ok now we got some more signings now...however

Still think we short of strikers with Calvert Lewin seemingly injury prone & Rondon not really cutting it, leaves us with Maupay maybe which appears to be a little risky...

Maybe January window we may still need to do some more business...

We had 21 defeats last season. I can’t see that happening with the experience and fight we now appear to have in the team. Even if we win the same amount as last season (surely not a big ask to win 11 games out of 38), we should be absolutely fine just by picking up a lot more draws in games that would’ve been defeats last season.

An overall stronger, more cohesive team unit will win us more games compared to last season where we had no defence or midfield.

They have an awful defense and no goalkeeper to remotely cut the damage. Vardy is nearing the end as well and misses many games each year. They will need to do some impressive work in the January window to fix it.
Schmeichel, Fofana and Vardy were in the last year of their deals: they’ve sold two, to an extent replaced one of them and renewed the contract of the ageing player.

That only leaves another six or seven first team players in the last year of their contract with one in Tielemems apparently willing to move away.

Unless they sell Maddison and someone else, I have no idea how they’re going to rebuild this squad as they have little resale value and ageing players.

Disarray @FOXINPEACE?
