I dont know about that, yet, but I do feel as tho Palace were never truly in the mix, but we shall see.

Palace have had a bad run but they've got some real quality in their squad and for me were never really in trouble with Luton where they are and points deductions having been handed out. So I'm delighted with that result today.
If Everton cannot stay up with these fixtures the club should fold.

Probably not - I saw them more of a potential team we could overtake ourselves… they probably only need a couple more points to stay above us now tbh

Interesting result for Palace.... Didn't see them getting more than 1-2 points for the rest of the season. However if they are getting their best players back.... seems that has changed.
Anyhow, Palace basically now safe with only 2-3 points required for them for safety..
Big 12-13 days for us. Have to aim for 5-6 points minimum from our next 4 games.
If we can make sure 3 of these come against Forest, then we could be going into the last 3 games 6-7 points ahead of them providing they also get stuffed by City after us.

Palace are such weirdos. Dismal for large parts of the season yet took 7 points from aways in Manchester and at the swamp which is some going.

IF we do need something from last game, you’d think if City are already winners, it might just make our game at Arsenal that tiny bit easier if they’ve nothing to play for.

It was always likely Palace would get what they needed unless Eze and Olise were both out for the rest of the season. Even Ayew and Matea are a handful. They've got too much firepower.
In my heart of hearts I feel the same way about Brentford with Toney (think they might struggle next season btw).
I'm glad that Palace didn't show this mentality.

If we need something from that last game, it's fully rely on the other fixtures to go our way. We could potentially give a decent defensive display but even if they have nothing to play for we will eventually succumb.
