The half way mark of 19 games is always a good marker. I honestly think a point per game ratio giving 38 points will be too much for the bottom three teams this season. We’ve got 14 points already so feel ahead of the curve at the moment but it would be great if we can just get the wins to end this conversation as early as possible this season. The points tallies for the teams at the bottom could be so low at the halfway stage that they’re looking at having to get 25 points in 19 games just to have a chance of survival

A 1ppg average to get to 38 points is almost impossible for those three teams after the start they’ve had. Luton are the best of them at 0.5ppg with almost a third of the season gone.

To emphasise how big the gap is on teams that win so few points, if all three carried on at this rate (not saying they will) we would need to lose 16 consecutive games to fall into the relegation zone.

Possibly. Knife edge stuff I feel. I don’t know how morale would affected by a 12 pointer.

Form wise we should have more than a decent chance. We'd only be 4 points behind them now.

Don't think there is a chance in hell we get that full penalty anyhow so we probably already ahead even if the worst comes to the worst.

Feel 12 points would be absolutely bonkers, given the deduction for administration is only 9! Surely they don’t want to create a perverse incentive for teams to just take administration to clear debts?!
