I think a draw gives both teams a boost going into the second half of the season.

But a draw awards two points and a win three. Mathematically you almost always want two rival clubs to draw with each other.

All that matters is that we take care of our own results. Spurs away and City at home were never going to be easy Christmas fixtures, but we need to keep going. It’s why I was so frustrated to drop points against Spurs when we absolutely deserved more. Teams around us WILL pick up points.
