FAO the people who are amused at the postings of others who fear relegation...please take a look at the current PL table. Here it is - with City to come later today...

....and that's after 4 wins in the last 5 games...it's hilarious isn't it?

I know it felt like Luton had been unfortunate in a number of home games if you actually look at their stats re attempts on goals and those on target compared to what we are doing it is very unlikely they can win more games than us over the second half of the season

I think it will be close actually.

In second half of the season they will play Bournemouth, Brentford, Fulham (last day), Sheffield United, Forest....and errrr Everton all at home. Way they're playing (and of course seasons are long and can turn on decisions, injuries etc) they can certainly win at least three of those. Then with a couple of draws and a Newcastle type shock win v a Man. United or Brighton they're pretty much over 30 points and then it's a case of finding one more away win.

Way I see it simply must beat Sheffield United and Burnley at Goodison in the run in. And then a couple from Palace, Brentford, West Ham and Forest. Won all four of those away and the home run in isn't too bad in last three months.

I think it will be a bit like 21/22 now. Burnley and Sheffield United will be cut adrift just like Watford and Norwich were but 18th place team could easily go down on 35/36 points.

Wolves is the big one. That's effectively a 6 pointer. Luton somehow have managed to find a bit of form but for how long. No one said this was going to be easy for sure but let's try and look on the bright side we are play 100 times better than last season.

If Dyche had lost the players I’d fully agree with you. You seriously underrate our manager/players and overrate the 3 teams below us. We’ll be well clear on those 3 soon enough

I expect Luton will hit a rough patch at some point, it's inevitable.

Some teams above us will fall of a cliff and get dragged into the mix too.

We just have to keep doing what we're doing and hope injuries don't pile up

Think Fulham away at end of January is the big one.

Need to win back as after their purple patch they're back to losing games and not even scoring. Iwobi will also be away at AFCON. That feels like a West Ham or Forest type away win as can really draw them back into relegation mix with a win.

Can also get something off Villa. Cup win will help psychologically and they were vulnerable second half v crosses and quick breaks.

January only actually has two prem games in it and Fulham away is right at the end of it so won't be much to judge.

Palace have taken 3 points from 21. Are the lowest scorers bar sheff utd.
Unfortunately they play Chelsea tonight. Chelsea have got to turn up at least once havent they 🤨

And after a 10 point deduction we were 19th, now we are not. We also have a positive goal difference. If you want to leave out other facts that's ok, but don't expect others to.

Unlike prior season we are now road warriors reducing the burden on home fixtures
