I think Forest's charge is ridiculous, are we just expecting all the promoted teams to do a Burnley and Sheffield United each year and get ever lower points totals? Only one way that's going and that's to do away with relegation
to be fair they ran around like a fat kid in a candy store though. They signed player after player. That was always going to come around and bite them especially when signing players with no or little resale value. Origi must be on like 60k a week, he’s done nothing for them. There’s loads.

But also let’s not forget Forest’s, like everyone’s, runs over a three year period. So technically they must of messed up
A few times. If they was 50m over then selling Johnson would have sorted that but maybe they were so much over that the Johnson figure is only a drop in the ocean. Who knows.

The only worry for them is if they apply the Everton rule to them. Depending on their charge it could result in almost immediate relegation for them if it’s a 20 point deduction or something.

Yeah it’s important to remember it’s not just Forest’s PL year that counts- they lost 45m the year they got promoted which is a lot compared to the EFL threshold and that counts against them too. If they do get done it won’t just be for the money they spent to stay up, but also for the money they spent to get promoted, which arguably is a much clearer indication of sporting advantage.

Yeah i knew it was different both teams still have points to fight the deductions on, just think we got lucky that we have had more non sporting advantages to fight on.

Amazingly we're still in with a good shout of staying up with virtually nothing from our strikers. Even with a half decent striker we'd probably be mid 20 points ish.
Crazy isn’t it. The chances we have missed is just baffling. DCL against Villa and City, even the pen against city was debatable. Even with nothing going for us we are still in with a fighting chance and that’s all we can ask for.

Mate, Forest gave Jesse Lingard a £200k pw contract. The PL needs to come hard on them just for that reason 😁

Is that true? I thought the Forest EFL years were not judged. The limit they had to abide to was around £60m loss for 1 year. I keep on seeing this 40-50m breach figure bandied around. I recall Seeing figures under £20m from Forest fans at the time of the breach
