A disappointing outcome no doubt about it.
Hoped we could get a win especially with Brighton at the weekend.
But as one of our esteemed ex managers, the Spanish rotund one often commented, if you can't win a game, don't lose it.

I mean yeah but mathematically, "39 is safety" and all that.
39 has been well above safety for several years now, and will continue to be so as long as the league remains this top heavy. Luton have 20 points through 24 games. Thinking they get another 20 in the final 14 isn’t a realistic fear.

It's a decent point against a team fired up. Had we lost we would have let Palace get probably too far away from us without most, if not all points given back on appeal.

The hard thing to take is 7 days ago we win the game fairly comfortably. Everton that.

Sorry mate but it wasnt a decent point. It was 2 dropped. Why weren't we fired up? There was such a massive incentive to drag them right into it. That was as lacklustre a first 45 minutes as you'll see given how important the game was. Everthing was wrong. The attitude. The lack of urgency. Thats what concerns me. The lack of we really want this approach.

Nah mate. Sorry but we where a disgrace and tonight was two massive points dropped. The team was a disgrace and where second best for large chucks of that game against an utter terrible Crystal Palace side
You’ve never seen an “utter” terrible Crystal Palace side.
I’ve seen them lose at Aldershot, Grimsby, Cambridge Utd, Walsall, Gillingham and Chester. They were “utter” terrible.

Did you watch the game at all like?! lol

I'm not saying Crystal Palace suddenly turn into world beaters, just the tiny little bit more effort to get to stuff they might not have previously, to stay that bit more focused knowing that your position in the side is on the line helped. They are still going to be a side without confidence, as are we, so it will be like two drunks fighting it out in a telephone box.

Could probably do with Luton continuing to struggle for a while longer, particularly as they still have a game in hand on us.

Really need to get a 3-4 lead over them somehow quickly. West Ham has replaced tonight now as a must win.

RS game will likely be postponed as that's one FA cup QF weekend so looking like 4 of the next 5 prem games are going to be away from home which isn't great.
