We NEED relegation. There's no other way out of this purgatory.
We need a complete reset, the club, the team, the finances.
If that means several seasons out of the Premiership, then so be it. Most of us hate the bloody thing anyway.
Be worse another leicester situation just need get in new stadium and try bring better deals into thr club

Not romanticised it for one moment but I'm saying it's more enjoyable to watch.
It's been a long while since coming away from Goodison having enjoyed watching a game.
Interesting point about enjoyment. Long story short, my sons and I have season tickets at Portsmouth, but also fit in about 8 visits to Goodison per season (and away games when we can get tickets). I must admit, as far as enjoying the experience goes, watching Pompey is more enjoyable. I know GP can get rocking but unfortunately it's never happened when we have been there. However, as a bit of balance, I still rate being at Brighton last season, was one of my best football experiences ever.

One thing I can see going against us is that there are a number of players in our squad that must know they aren't playing for Everton next season:
  • Onana - will be sold as we need the money
  • Branthwaite - will be sold because he's far too good for us and we need the money
  • Harrison - loan and seriously disappointed and will not be signed
  • Danjuma - loan and has barely featured and won't be signed
  • Gomes - out of contract
  • Alli - out of contract
When you're deep in a relegation fight and need everybody to pull their tripes out for 95 minutes a game, it's not ideal if your relegation will mean absolutely nothing to quarter of the squad.

If we need a win against Arsenal in the final game, is Onana really going to give 110% knowing that an injury might scupper a move he's been planning for ages?

Let's hope it doesn't get to us needing points in the final game.

Tarkowski was playing through the pain barrier for Burnley in the run in two years ago so think you can trust him.

I don't see a lack of commitment really from majority of the team, more a lack of quality in the final third and rash decisions at the back against genuine pace. Both in evidence once more today.

That said Danjuma is the sort I don't think will be getting fit in a hurry.

The highlight of the recent past with us was the DCL winner in the 3-2 game against Palace.

If we are relegated, I would doubt that Everton FC would even exist. I don't think you understand the seriousness of our financial situation.
