Relegation 23/24 Thread

Luton got to win 4 games on the trott to stay up after that

Can’t see it to be honest

Forest got city at home too

I think we’re safe

Essentially we need a massive collapse and Luton and Forest need wins

Huge pressure on them

Lose the next two and we’re well in it mate

No time for complacency now

The job isn’t done yet
Effectively, we have to lose our last four matches, Luton need three wins from four AND Forest need two wins and a draw from their four to pip us on goal difference. That's simply not going to happen.

I'm as pessimistic as anyone, but the job has been done over the last three days.

We have Brentford and Sheffield United at home as insurance policies. Forest have to play City - which is the only loss they can afford if we lose all four. It's plausible they take seven points from Sheffield United, Chelsea, and Burnley - but not probable.

As for Luton, even if they beat us, they still have to win two of their games with Wolves, West Ham, and Fulham. Possible? At a stretch.

But even if Forest and Luton do the unlikely, we still have two handy home games to come.

Everything would have to go wrong now. Given the odds, it really isn't worth worrying about.

Luton lose in the early kick off then we only need a point in the Brentford game - safety done.
That is it hopefully get the result we need before the game and take this positivitiy to get us the 3 points. It then puts huge pressure on forest and luton, with the away game at luton they will have to win and take chances hopefully letting us take advatange of. Just made up tonight coyb
