Not at all. A top half finish would actually be quite an acheivement when you consider how absolute God awful we were in say January.
Still a small reward. We should never have been so low in the first place.
Complete agreement. Get a few results, restore some confidence in the team and go in to the summer with a sense of purpose.

as nobody looks at the full 38 games we finished, say 9th then people will just see us having a blip because of europa and still finishing strongly as apposed to having a terrible season and only salvaged at most by said europa run.

I fully respect your opinion and that of those who feared that we were in a relegation fight. It is only natural that such feelings should occur when faced with the prospect of something you love so much being harmed or devalued in anyway.
I just wanted to reassure you that we are not and never have been in a relegation fight this season and those of us with a more rational outlook will continue to do our best to allay your concerns until seasons end.

The malaise toward the end of last season carried over into this one.
We need to be winning as many games as possible and none of our last seven fixtures are "meaningless" in my eyes.

I don't really care where we finish now if we can have some strong boss play backing it up. I'd feel far more confident going into the summer if we won/lost 50% of our remaining games but played some fantastic football.
Normally I'd agree, but winning is more important at this stage, just for confidence. The system can be looked at in the summer. It's kind of easy to forget that we did have to win ugly at times last season, it wasn't all freeflowing.
