Only 2 days to recover...having played also on Sunday last week...wolves having plenty of time to recover...as long as raul is fit and plays, I am confident that wolves will get a win against burnley.

Burnley unbeaten in last 5 v Wolves I think so it's an opponent they match up alright against. Was 0-0 at Molineux.

Feels like it's time to drop into bottom 3 tbh. Pretty sure for about 3-4 matches six weeks ago there was period where Burnley needed a point to go ahead and they suddenly started losing so been really lucky not to drop into relegation zone at any point this season tbh.

Heaven knows what the reaction will be from this shower if that does happen.

4 wins from 7 is more than enough. 3 wins from 7 = 38 points. That leaves Burnley needing 10 from 6 games, which is a very big ask. Also leaves Leeds needing 6 points from a tough 6 game run in.

Winning three games ain't going to be easy, but it should be enough.

Burnley have 4 games against sides Potentially on their holidays in Villa (x2), Wolves and Newcastle.

Then go to Watford. There’s 3 wins in there for them, I’d they play like they did tonight.

I think I’d flip a coin tonight- heads we stay up, tails we go down - just to make the season stop now. It’s like water torture this.

If that's the case then it's over, when the need is desperate for us, our boys will disintegrate.

I made the mistake of looking at Burnley's fixtures left.

Apart from Spurs away they have teams with absolutely nothing left to play for. Villa twice, Newcastle last game. Watford will probably have giving up by then.
Gerard will make sure Villa role over as well.

We always knew Burnley's fixture list was full of this type of game in the last few weeks. It's why I can't get last night out of my mind. That was our chance to take the game to a Leicester side with virtually nothing to play for, yet we stood back and gave them the freedom of the park. All of that after 10 days rest.
It was a terrible performance really. The sort of sloppy mistakes being made towards the end will be ruthlessly punished if they're repeated against Liverpool.

Lampard seems to have done a good job of not letting morale drop through the floor after a setback, but even so, we can't let it get embarrassing without a fight on Sunday. My hope is that the Chelsea game will be similar to last night, where the clearly better team isn't motivated to bust a gut in search of a win, but we have to make it there in one piece first.

Ffs chris. He's an Evertonian now. Thats the past. Lord only knows what I could post on here if I vidied you on holiday in your pomp.

What "big games" do we ever provide for them? We roll over and get our tummy tickled 99% of the time in games against the "big clubs". We offer nothing to sky from a tv perspective. Now us in the championship? Thats a different story. We'll be useful to sky down there, especially if we're losing most weeks.
I am sure you get a lot more subscribers that follows Everton than burnley or brentford...
