Nothing changes for me, have to get an away win somewhere.

Even beating Palace and Brentford and getting to 35 points probably means it will just go to last day as I can't see Burnley being on less than 32 points with what they have coming up after 37th game.

Win at Watford and things become simpler.

That's the biggest problem. Our winnable fixtures come too late.

True. Just taking fixtures in isolation ignores momentum and the impact of building pressure. We will need 4 points from the next 3. Looks a tall order. That being said if Leeds lose to Crystal Palace they could be in trouble

Usually at this point of the season we have nothing to fight for, I’m quite excited we actually do have some thing to fight for this year ?

We’ve been relegated about 3 times already on here so far this season. After losing to Norwich, after losing to Burnley and now after Burnley have won and are still behind us!
Sunday at Anfield is a nightmare fixture for us but we could get something from Chelsea, then Leicester away who will be on the back of a 2 legged semi final in Rome.
I get this is a disastrous season, but to write us off as already down with 7 games left if just daft.

I'm not writing us off. We know anything can happen in this game. Purely basing it off probability I just don't think it looks good for us.

We are all looking to Chelsea as being the saving grace but if they turn up and perform they will turn us over. We've got points at Goodison despite the performances not being great.

It could get even better if Burnley hire the FSW and he puts the final nail in our coffin

The bottom line is it is in our hands, as players fans and the club have to stand up to the fight.

They’ve won 4 all season, no chance they will win more than one game left.

Burnley have only won four games all season. They have drawn 13.

Far more likely to get a draw or two out of those games.

Two wins for us will be enough I think. That leaves them needing 11 points which they don’t stand a chance of.

Feel different yet?....problem is our players have had this same attitude, and are sleep walking into relegation...

Burnley are fighting, we're acting entitled....

I think we can get something at Leicester. They weren't brilliant last night and think they will rest players .
From our 3 home games and away to Watford and Leicester we need to get 9 or 10 points. It won't be easy .

Well that's just daft isn't it mate. I'm as deviated as anyone to see us in this position and will be broken if we do go down but you have no idea if we'll ever come back or not. No doubt it'll take time but you have no way of knowing how bad or good things will be for us in the championship. Pointless doom-mongering is just as daft as blindly pretending that everything will be fine.

Yep, we bottled it against Burnley that night.

Going to the wire, no doubt about that.
Thought we could wrap things up in one of our games against Brentford or Palace.
Emirates with Arsenal looking to cement a top four place is going to be a horrendous place to get a result.

I think what might actually finish us off is the fact that after Liverpool and Chelsea we have 5 games to save the season in 14 days…with our injury prone squad…hell of an ask to produce back to back..to back wins in a short turnaround.

This a dire situation now , I don’t honestly expect anything from the next three games and looking at Burnley’s next three , wolves home , Watford away and then at home to villa before we play Leicester away it’s quite possible we can still be on 29 points and them on between 35 -37 with only four games to go
