Just imagine by some freak of nature we beat them lot at the weekend, just imagine well I can dream ? but at the very least I want to see our players stand up and be counted, not just the usual roll over and let them have it easy.
If we beat the RS, half the fan base would throw a parade and declare our status as a Prem team absolutely assured.

Then Watford and Brentford would roll us over for 5-a-piece, and we'd start all over again.

Burnley were likely to win tonight. The problem is we didnt take care of our own business. The plaudits and fanfare that has been dished out for a draw at home to a midtable side is laughable

We needed 3 points and we didn't play like we wanted them enough. Things are about to get very nervy and uncomfortable again. These players don't fill me with confidence. They now need another big unexpected win, probably away from home.

Has this happened? Genuine question, I want to know who was made up with a draw last night.

I think what might actually finish us off is the fact that after Liverpool and Chelsea we have 5 games to save the season in 14 days…with our injury prone squad…hell of an ask to produce back to back..to back wins in a short turnaround.
I think it suits us better having games in quick succession. We had a 10 day break before wolves (I think?) and last night and in both games were so slow to start. I think we build more momentum by playing regularly.

Got to find the straws to grasp at.

Liverpool - write off, don’t get thumped.
Chelsea - very erratic, let’s hope they have an off day
Leicester - 3 days after a trip to Rome, a loss/win couple easily swing how they play
Watford - cup final, so many sides have done their defence recently, we need to win.
Brentford - winnable home game on paper, it’s one of those must wins
Palace - as aboce
Arsenal - let’s hope our season is safe before, cause I have no positives for it.

That Leeds comeback versus Wolves…crucial.
That was more luck than anything...but you need that to change the confidence and put you in a good run...newcastle had some lucky ones too which allow them to get a good run of games...not too late for us but we need that bit of luck
