Its pretty simple really

They have players who want to stay up more than ours and players who are willing to give much more to make it happen.

We have players who have barely been available to kick a ball this season. This squad is completely putting me off modern football. The money they are earning is completely unjustifiable considering their performance.

We have slightly more quality than they do. And sometimes quality does triumph over hard graft. But more often than not it doesn't.

That's debatable tbh. We certainly think we have more quality and the players do too but when was the last time we had as many shots on target as Burnley did tonight?

I need a new team. Any sport that doesn't involve relegation. Somebody pick a team for me.

I can't be a second class citizen, I can't profess my Evertonian status while in the Championship. The social shame is too much.

That could be a long time. So I need a new team.

Brentford, Palace and Watford has to be 9 points. Leicester and Chelsea, need at least a point out of.

Way I see it to. 10 points needed, maybe 9 at a push.

This is true. Could our right back do what theirs did tonight? I saw them actually string passes together and move through the 3rds of the pitch too, we haven’t done that since 2016.

Leeds are well able to pull results out of the bag because they work constantly. I wouldn't be relying on us bridging that gap at all
We are as likely to get nothing from next 4 as they are

Spot on. Benetiz should have been gone after that debacle. But imo Lampard has not been great either. Can Lampard keep us up.. I don’t know.
But I suppose what we now have as a resemblance of a team that we are all now hoping can produce a few decent wins in our remaining matches.
Not really expecting any dramatic changes. No youngsters are going to feature. And we have nothing tucked up our sleeve. Can dele Ali and Rondon conjure up something. Will DCL score a few goals. Gordon also. Can Gray get some form back.. Can our midfield actually step up and play as a proper midfield.
And can we manage a few clean sheets.
Never say never. But it ain’t looking good. Rant over….
