At its simplest level, Championship clubs can make losses of up to £39m in a three year cycle (average £13m per annum) as long as the owner guarantees to cover these losses by injecting equity into the club (not loans).
If they don’t then the losses allowed are much lower, down to £15m (£5m per annum).

Losses are closely aligned to each club’s financial accounts submitted annually to Companies House.

You are indeed correct.
At least we will be able to play in the Johnstone paint trophy. Always been a dream of mine to see my team walk out at Wembley against Colchester United or AFC Wimbledon

Still games to get us out of this mess, but can't shake off this horror of being left with Keane, Gomes, Davies + watching them getting terrored by Troy Deeney, Jake Livermore et al.

The bar for the safety zone will be around 38 points. So we need to get 9 or 10 more points in 7 games. Burnley needs 4 wins in 6 games. Or 3 wins and 1 draw eventually

I want our wage budget reduced by about 80%.
Whatever happens we need to sort our wage out. All new contracts should have a sliding scale model written in... Finish 17th, total wage becomes 17th highest in prem etc. individual contracts reduced by percentage. Start with 10th highest total wage bill and it gives an incentive to finish higher year on year.
Pie in the sky idea I know but it would make for better effort without doubt. If all teams did it there'd be less beach teams too like Saints this evening
Ours is 7th highest wage bill smh

I had Burnley to be level with us at the end of April but with us having 2 games in hand on them.

I think they take 1pt from Wolves + Watford games to go level with us if we lose to the RS.

If I was a neutral id want us to go down. We are a prime example of everything wrong with top level football.

If we get fines or points deductions then can we really argue. We are just a badly run, and pretty unlikeable club right now.
The amount of fans of quite a few other teams, not just Burnley, those silly Toon fans, or the usual across the park has been crazy, its like a lynch mob against us lol

Im not neutral and honestly part of me is embracing it.

We totally deserve it, I look around the league and we defo deserve it more than most.
