It's one thing to urge Everton to win. But what do you do when Southampton and Wolves were as hopeless as they were against Burnley???

Southampton lost 2-0 to Burnley, but coming back from 2-0 down to draw against Brightion.

Unreal!

edit: Burnley even gave us the gift of losing to Norwich, and the penalty miss to beat West Ham.
Whats it got to do with Saints and Wolves though
Maybe Burnley are just turning it on at the right time
Credit where it's due and all that

At least we enjoyed Lampard and his all star backroom staff for a few months.

…might’ve been the right man but certainly at the wrong time. Benitez turned this group of players into a disaster whilst causing turmoil off it. When there’s conflict off the pitch, it always manifests itself with results.

Benitez turned us from a bit of a joke club into a toxic club.

Keep the faith, fight for everything. I haven’t waived the white flag today at all.

We may be a shadow of what we should be, but we are still Everton Football Club.

If it comes to pass they’ll have to carry us off on our Shields.
Nice sentiments mate but these players don't care enough, and some have thrown in the towel

This has made the prospect of a game against the RS even more enjoyable……..

I’ve made my peace with relegation and, in the words of Peter O’Hanra-Hanrahan, “I don’t like it, but I’ll have to go along with it”.

Mentally it's difficult to manage. I will be fine should our worst fears come to pass. Sad but more in a sentimental and melancholy way, like another of lifes seeming certainties has ebbed way, of a form.

Lads and ladies, and I mean this, look after yourselves in this dark time. Eat well, exercise, make time for family and friends, do things that take your mind off Everton.

Support the team yes, and continue to do so, but for Gods sake support yourselves and the community here too. Many of you feel like my friends.

I would give it to Dunc after we get hammered today tbh. Pretty clear by now that Frank doesn't know how to keep us up. We didn't even get a new Manager bounce from him and we have pretty much carried on like we were under the FSW i,e really bad. We will have 6 games to save ourselves after this so we are definitely at desperation, final throw of the dice stage.

And I don't think Stevie G***** will be doing us any favours when Villa play Burnley twice.
