It was a ridiculous appointment. Why on earth would anyone appoint a guy who has achieved nothing as a manager but mediocrity? He only got the Chelski job because of past connections and he was pure [Poor language removed] there. Lampard needs to do what Rooney is doing and get to understand the game from the bottom up. OK, he was at Derby for a short while but got lucky twice in getting the Chelsea and then our job. He's not the man for a relegation fight and tactically he's inept.
