The effort was there. The quality wasn't. Calvert lewin looks nowhere near fitness.

Our chances of going down went from 11% to 13%. Wasn't the best match but I would say we deserved a point based on what Villa put into the game. If we get 6 points out of the next 5 we are in a relative comfortable spot. Thats two wins between Newcastle, Southampton or Leeds.

Its not the place you want to be but I am far more scared of the board hastily reacting to today than realistically going down.

Love to hear from all those people on here who think we are not in a battle to stay up. If Decoure is out for a while we are in big trouble.

We're in a battle, but I don't think there's much chance of us going down. There's a decent enough gap atm and we're significantly better (not saying a lot) than all the teams below us. I know a lot of people don't want to hear it and this isn't me being complacent, but I just don't see it.

It's probably a good thing it's over two weeks until our next league game now but leaves a dark cloud hanging over us. Newcastle and Leeds are huge games - both are going to be difficult.

We need a third man in midfield but we also need Gray, Gordon and Richarlison on the pitch. Whoever the manager is needs to find a system that works straight away.
