And THAT is the concerning thing.

If we cant get points from a Villa team - who arern't all that - with "Dunc" in the dugout...who these players "will" play for, we are right in the dogfight.
Get Big Sam in with our tails between our legs. The football wasn't nice but we chased out a man who finished 8th with us. Ancelloti didn't even do that

Our chances of going down went from 11% to 13%. Wasn't the best match but I would say we deserved a point based on what Villa put into the game. If we get 6 points out of the next 5 we are in a relative comfortable spot. Thats two wins between Newcastle, Southampton or Leeds.

Its not the place you want to be but I am far more scared of the board hastily reacting to today than realistically going down.

Love to hear from all those people on here who think we are not in a battle to stay up. If Decoure is out for a while we are in big trouble.
We're in a battle, but I don't think there's much chance of us going down. There's a decent enough gap atm and we're significantly better (not saying a lot) than all the teams below us. I know a lot of people don't want to hear it and this isn't me being complacent, but I just don't see it.

It's probably a good thing it's over two weeks until our next league game now but leaves a dark cloud hanging over us. Newcastle and Leeds are huge games - both are going to be difficult.

We need a third man in midfield but we also need Gray, Gordon and Richarlison on the pitch. Whoever the manager is needs to find a system that works straight away.

We are where we deserve to be.

If we go down it’s because we deserve to go down.

A defeat today brought by with an assist from a player we should not have sold, who got sold by a kopite rat who should never have been appointed and headed in by a midget.

We are an absolute living joke of a football club

Great. Time for Newcastle to bring in 3 decent players and get them a settled in

We've been saying this after every game mate. Eventually that chance turns to reality
