We're in a battle, but I don't think there's much chance of us going down. There's a decent enough gap atm and we're significantly better (not saying a lot) than all the teams below us. I know a lot of people don't want to hear it and this isn't me being complacent, but I just don't see it.
Honestly not sure that we are better. The names might look better but the form table and the inability to score goals don't lie. I think any team in the league could beat us right now, genuinely.

Need a manager to organise and instill discipline in a system. No idea who.

And THAT is the concerning thing.

If we cant get points from a Villa team - who arern't all that - with "Dunc" in the dugout...who these players "will" play for, we are right in the dogfight.
From a man who 2 games ago was saying we are never even in danger and laughing obnoxiously towards people who suggested we were in danger.

Good to see you catch on eventually when your agendas finally get made a mockery of.

Villa are a pushing midtable side, with a collective better roster and likely manager than we currently have, and we likely deserved a point out of the match. A loss removed of our club upheaval and league position would be a more than plausible result.

Been saying it for a while now, I am worried we waited too long to sack Benitez. We are in a relegation battle for sure. We've become accustomed to losing and forgotten how to win. I really hope we haven't left it too late. We have got to get a centre midfielder in who is not terrified of the ball and has some power and pace. It really doesn't matter if it's on loan or permanent, we have to have some quality in centre mid or we are gone.

There's no excuse for it really, we should have had enough points on the board by now to be unconcerned about relegation, but, things have been allowed to slide under Benitez and we are where we are. Well done agent Benitez, you have really fecked us up.

We cant think like this team is in the mix, i am worried we have to beat newcastle

Was always worried this season (even when we started well)......last season our only real creativity and class came James, when he was out we struggled massively (even with Ancelotti).....

We are in a lot of trouble here

I am definitely worried. We have just lost again at home to the mighty Villa and despite a new manager bounce and a slightly better second half, we registered 1 shot on target out of 15, which is absolutely diabolical. Not sure anyone can do anything with this bunch of losers.

Massive concerns we are going down.

No quality at all first half and horrendous upfront throughout.

Effort isn't keeping us in the League. We need quality.
