Ah well thanks for that mate. I legit had forgotten about our game in hand. Its nice to find a little bit of hope again (even if it is a bit misplaced on my part!)No..game in hand on Burnley and two points behind - so win our games then we stay up.
I mean it won’t happen like - but technically it’s still in our hands.
Maddest thing is we spent most of that in two summers we haven't exactly spent lavishly in recent seasons. It's spotlighted because how we wasted it and how we have gone backwards. When teams spend and go forwards its never mentioned. We really are the team everyone wants to go down. That's saying something when it's between Burnley and us and maybe Leeds.
All the money we have spent and we have gone from plucky underdogs to the team that nobody likes.
Next round of fixtures....Burnley PPG now better than ours following their win at the weekend, 1st time it has been all season and even though they`ve played more games...

It’s how long will the replacement manager bounce last, tbh he had a decent run of fixtures to start with.Maybe getting out of the zone might cause them to revert a bit and us to up our game falling into it. Maybe. We just gotta give it all. It is still in our hands
Leeds could still be on 34 points after 36 games with Brighton home and Brentford away the final 2 games.
Possible best case 37/38 points - we need at least 9 points from our last 6.
What do they have to lose? And Burnley aren't exactly top drawer like are they?
If we beat Chelsea I think we'll be back in this.
this applies to their burnley game too, and our away record is worse than burnley'sSilver lining being that Leicester have nothing to play for in the league and Watford have the worst home form in the division by quite a margin. Call me optimistic, but I reckon we can scrape 4 or even 6 points there if we put in a performance like we did yesterday.
MATE?Does anyone think it's wrong that I'm googling to see if I can remotely trigger an ICD for when Brentford come to Goodison?
(I'm not really....yet...)
Newcastle were set up for it under Ashley. That's literally what he did. He didn't invest much when they were in the PL but when they were in the Champ he was able to keep the same budget and throw a bit of money to get them back up.Newcastle have done it , Fulham are about to do it & Norwich repeatedly do it.
That's it suddenly we are well behind the eight ball. Our players don't handle pressure wellNext round of fixtures....
Dont think Leeds are getting anything against City but by time we play Chelsea we could be 5 behind Leeds and Burnley, starting to see a clear gap form.
Worryingly!
