Is anyone else mentally fatigued with this season,not just us losing but praying other teams lose so we don’t drop out the league it’s been a free fall since Watford 2-5 ,for not sacking that man that day the club played roulette with this clubs future and it’s coming home to roost now,the most incompetent board (4th highest paid in PL) we’ve ever had and it is absolutely reaping what it’s sewn,whatever happens this season has to be a watershed for this club

Feels like we lost 100 games this season.. just seems to go in and on

I'm thinking it would but I reckon Lampard will send them out to try and attack Chelsea given that we're at home.

Pretty sure we can attack with intensity and snide. They aren't mutually exclusive choices.

If you look at the games in 2 blocks, Chelsea and Leicester, and then Watford, Brentford and Palace (forget Arsenal for now). We need to get something from both Chelsea and Leicester, but must beat Watford Brentford and Palace.
That should do it. But we don't hardly win the 'must win' games. Don't care what order we just need to find at least 3 wins plus draws.

Serious question - did you watch Leeds play tonight? In case you didn't, they were dreadful. They now face arguably the best team in Europe, a team who are hunting down 4th and a superior side who despise them from a rivalry spanning over 50 years. I.e., Leeds lose their next three games.

Wouldn’t be so sure about that. Marsh is a very good coach. Still not the finished product but he certainly has enough in his locker to get Leeds over the line. Next three fixtures are tough, yes. They’ll surely lose to City but games vs Chelsea (who’ll be rotating heavily in view of the cup final three days later) and Arsenal (who always seem to have an unexpected loss in them) are winnable for them, as are the last two against Brighton and Brentford. I fully expect them to get the 38-40 points they need for safety. Everton are fighting Burnley, not Leeds.

No matter how good Lampard sets us up he cannot influence basic mistakes in those type of games.

That's certainly not my calculation.

I thinkLeeds are dogged enough under that maanbger to get draws like they did tonight. But wins get the job done in this situation.

If we beat Chelsea and eoither Leeds or Burnley get beat (or even draw in the cae of Burnley) I think the fight to avoid 3rd bottom get's shaken right up again.

Chelsea is key now. If we win and one of those two dont I'll be confident again.

I think we’ll take one point maximum from next two, and Leeds really should get zero against City and Arsenal. Which, if so, would leave us four behind Leeds with a game in hand. I really do think our safety is hinging on the Holy Trinity games of Watford, Brentford and Palace. We could easily need 9 points from that, which seems a very tall order for this squad, but we’ve seen it time and again, a club realises the danger they’re in, and the terror inspires them. Hopefully it’s us.

If I’m a Leeds fan though, I’d definitely be a bit more worried tonight because I wouldn’t expect anything from their next two games, if they get say a point from the three upcoming, they should be in the mud. Here’s hoping.

Why not we won 6 games in a row before. Burnley won 4 games all season and now gone WLDWW

Chelsea have a lot of internal problems, both on and off the field. Also Franks a Chelsea hero

Leicester play Roma in Rome 3 days before us in a 2nd leg semi final

Norwich.. surely we got to beat them

Palace, we owe them for the 2 wallopings we had off them and their season over

Brentford(maybe before palace) season over and we beat them 4-0 earlier this season

I think there's 3 points for us realistically in those two games against Chelsea / Leicester. And if we get a win against Chelsea we'll get a result of some description at Leicester.

The good news from tonight is that Burnley and Leeds have a test in their next game, as do we. But they play first and if either slip up we will be fired up for Chelsea.
