Let’s be honest if we go down it’s because we deserve to go down…We been horrendous all season. It’s way past the time for these players to stand up and be counted.
I’m still optimistic we stay up but I’ve also accepted the fact we are probably going down

I think there's 3 points for us realistically in those two games against Chelsea / Leicester. And if we get a win against Chelsea we'll get a result of some description at Leicester.

The good news from tonight is that Burnley and Leeds have a test in their next game, as do we. But they play first and if either slip up we will be fired up for Chelsea.
A lot of blues have rightly been mentioning our worse off GD to Burnley, but Leeds is way worse than both, that could turn out crucial, all the beatings they were getting with their gung-ho under Bielsa.

We are all just looking for crumbs of comfort and personally I feel it could get very dicey with the points difference stretching to Burnley and Leeds but we’ve got to stick in there picking up points. I thought last month that we would need to win a game or two we don’t expect, Man U was one, either Chelsea or an away win would be the other. We really must be due some good luck soon.

Let's see what happens to Burnley when they get a reversal, as they surely will.

I said a week ago that they have the highest draws in the PL with 13. If they slip into drawing mode again they leave a massive gap for us to walk through.

I dont believe in Burnley one bit.

I'll say it again: if we beat Chelsea we'll be right back in this and out of the 'favourite to go down' category.

Had the fear long before the Burnley game but after the Burnley game is the lowest I've felt supporting the bloos.
Never really had high points have we. Won a cup in 95 beat the RS about 3 times in 25 years , finished 4th once. It’s been a terrible 34 years of following(being old enough to no what’s going on) Everton. The only thing that never managed to happen is us go down and that’s about to change.
We are a nothing club and that’s the worse part

It's very important we have that advanatage this weekend of knowing what Leeds and Burnley have done. That's a bonus at this time. If either or both slip up the day before - which I expect - that hands us a massive boost going in to play Chelsea.

Leeds probably needed a win today to pull themselves clear. A point keeps them in the mix with tricky fixtures to come.
We aren’t yet at the must win stage, but if we could get 6 points from our next 3 games there’s a good chance we could draw level with them. Need to start taking care of our own results and stop relying on other teams losing. We need a run of 3-4 games picking up points.

I'm lucky not being able to relate to that. I've seen us win titles, cups and a European trophy.

I think Burnley ‘need’ to beat Watford. The three following are Villa twice and Spurs away. I know people are saying Gerrard will love to see us down, of course he will, but he has been underwhelming since he went to Villa and will want to finish the season off on a high going into the summer. Our last game is horrible, but If am Burnley and our last two away games are Spurs and Villa, I would not want to go into them games needing points.
