We'd be no better off if we'd hung on for a draw on Sunday and we would be buzzing. As it is we're 2 points behind Burnley with a game in hand, and I think we'll win at least 2 more matches and they will lose some. We probably just have to win one more than them, so it's still in our hands.
we would mate we would have 1more point

Fair enough. Spurs would argue they have averaged 5th over the last 17 straight seasons so have some history there. Personally, I hate the Premier League. It is 100% about who has the deepest pockets now. Nothing more, nothing less.
I don't subscribe to any services, never watch games that don't involve Spurs and have jacked in my ST.
I completely understand your disillusionment. And on a related note, I’ve watched a lot of the EFL this season and it’s usually at least as entertaining as the PL, and with players putting in more effort generally, certainly more than our shower.

My end of season table based on View attachment 163581unbiased match results predictions for all teams remaining games.

For us I went with wins against palace and Brentford, draws with chelsea and Watford and losses to Leicester and arsenal.
You are giving Burnley on a two game winning streak against decent opposition only one more win in thier next 5 who include Watford, villa twice and newcastle.

And giving Everton rock bottom on form of the last 27 games. A result against Chelsea, win against Palace who schooled us few weeks ago 4-0.. Brentford who beat us. Watford who put 5 passed us.

This thread is becoming the most insane thread I have ever witnessed. And that includes 'Amsterdam for the derby'

And the Frank v Big Bad Geoffrey thread

A win in the game in hand puts us above Burnley with or without that point and that is my thinking.

That point could've been important if draws came into the equation.
think any point now is absolutely vital. No one expected anything from the RS match. Nor should we have really. So you're right in that nothing has changed. We're still in with a shout even if we lose to Chelsea. If Burnley fail to be Watford and we draw it isn't the end of the world. Its all too close for me mate and too many permutations I just want it all to be over to be honest.

We need to bring back @Darren78 just for this thread.

He`d make a lot of posters on here look quite sane and well balanced.
