Hi Everyone,
Despite being a Toon fan, I grew up on the Wirral and I am in my 40s so I can fully recall when Everton were a great side and I have many blues fans as mates so I do appreciate your current suffering. I have read many contributions here in the last weeks and listened to some Evertonians and here are my two cents:
1. You are NOT relegated until the moment you are relegated. If that happens it is painful sure, but unless/until it does happen stay behind your team and Manager and give them every bit of support you can (I deliberately haven't mentioned the clowns in charge of your club as that is a different story)
2. If you are ultimately relegated aside from the obvious "banter" you will have to deal with from the rest of Merseyside the Championship is not so bad and long as you don't stay there, or "do a Sunderland " You will have new places to visit with passionate fans, cheaper tickets etc.
3. It is not some "conspiracy" against Everton if they do get relegated. It just isn't - end of story!
Finally I will say this - unlike many neutrals I would rather Burnley dropped down than you guys/gals but as a team Everton are going to need to show some fight now otherwise it will be you that goes.
Good luck for the rest of the season.
