A few posters on here have said a year in the second tier would do us good and at least we'd win the division not least @Forever Blue , but I cant recall the names of others. Less now, agreed - as the realirty sets in.

ha ha ha ha ha ha. do us good?

it’ ends this football club.

and IF we went down we aren’t coming back

so whoever thinks it would do any good is deluded

Like I said, he wasn't.

His range of passing didn't need to be good, he was a water carrier there. His job was to get it and give it and that's what he did.

He played as a six in our best run of results in the back half of the season.

Nothing to do with being journalistic or your lying eyes. I can think of a few mistakes he made but you make out like he was giving possession away with simple passes 10 times a game. He wasn't.
If he does once or twice a game in a dangerous area, that's more than enough.

He's garbage, plain and simple.

Can you give me two examples of him doing it in a dangerous area from last season?

I remember him booting it out stupidly for a corner once that we then conceded from - think it was the West Ham home game though could be wrong there

He isn't great at all but he'd have allowed us to play a 433 which would have helped.

And he won't be sold if we go down, which is the point I was making, so he'd be one the ones kept on to try and help us get back up.

Hang on, I'll just refer to the detailed notes that I take at every game I attend.

Won't be a minute.

Horrid innit, constant.

I think I check the table about 3 or 4 times an hour in the hope that its not real.

Horrible, horrible club.
I was just seeing visions of the bottom three last night every time I shut my eyes

Have, weirdly, been more chilled about it today

I still don't think anything has changed from this time last week in terms of what points Everton realistically need to get. I thought we'd need 10-11 before Leicester so I still think we'll need 10. I suppose what has changed is that I was hoping 9 would be enough but now I really think we need at least 39.

I have no real confidence that we'll get them but I'm just trying to look at it that way.

Chelsea really feels like a must-win for any sort of morale, though.
