I really don’t want us to get relegated. The thought of it fills me with dread and anxiety about our overall future. That’s my reactive side. There is a part of me though that is trying to see the positives ( I know it’s clutching at straws!). Such an embarrassing position for Moshiri would surely be a wake up call that he can’t meddle in football decisions. It may finally give a base for the current management, coaching staff and director of football to work cohesively and without interference. There’s another part of me that would definitely be happy to not be continually frustrated at the obvious bias to the top clubs in the EPL. It’s seriously turned me off football because it’s so blatant and sickening. The media and the officials don’t even try to hide it, look at the spitters interview with Klopp just before the derby. Open bias towards the sh1te and was allowed to create a narrative of us being dirty and should respect them more. I’ve actively kept away from the football scores over the last few weeks to help with my sanity. I can honestly say that I feel better without football, not necessarily my team, but football. There’s just too many frustrations now that are probably just common place in the premier league. Perhaps a season of being away from it, and just enjoying rebuilding and winning, will be the silver lining in the grey cloud!!??
