I doubt I'd have mentioned him if others hadn't brought him up.

I also very much doubt that having him available would have helped matters, but then nothing does more for a player's reputation than not playing, and there's no way of proving that he wouldn't have made all the difference for some reason or other.

Would he have allowed us to not play Mason Holgate in midfield though in two key away games. Well, yes.

dunno i am starting to warm to the idea. Think its just a gradual acceptance. Hard to believe really. Really hard to take. We can still get out of this and so I shouldn't sound so defeated. But I feel like I shouldn't get my hopes up.
