Burnley will comfortably get another 4 points from what they have left.

Just have to go all out to try to catch Leeds now. With their GD and fixtures left there's a chance but 5 point gap at this stage of the season is a bit of a disaster tbh.

Way I see it have to win two of the six games left just to have any chance of staying up now so not good situation at all. Could easily be two wins needed from 5 games after tomorrow so time really is running out.

40 points won't be enough this season, assuming we don't go down ourselves.

So a win against Chelsea, Leicester or Arsenal is a must.

So we will beat Chelsea at home but Leeds won’t? I completely understand the optimism and trying to make the sums work. But we were doing all of this stuff about Burnley a few weeks ago and now they are winning every week. I think it’s done, hopefully I’m wrong, but I am certain that I’m not.

TBF if it's 35 points to stay up then Chelsea game dosen't matter, wins v Watford (deserved relegation if team is so inept it can't win that) and Palace would be enough.

Leeds will probably scramble up to 36 or 37 points I'd say as feels they'll go all in for the final two games.

We were 20th!... when you take away games he won... lol

Good looking Frank will get all the pardon. Ugly unpersonable Benitez and Sam will get mind gymnastics to be discredited
I’ve never heard any criticism of Big Sam. That would be absurd. He took over a 14th-placed team and got us 8th spot.

Here is a question for you all...would you really accept the type of "football" that Big Sam plays over any significant period of time?

Wtf are you talking about? Aside from the first few matches after he took over a team that had 59pts the year prior....we were 20th in the form table until Lampard slowly turned that around.

We went then to 11th, 12th and 14th in the form table (6game runs).

We would have been worse than Watford if Benitez had stayed.
Frank has done well, without question.

During Benitez’s last 13 matches he accrued just 6 points from a possible 39.

I know Everton before the Premier League era had a reputation for playing attractive and free-flowing football, but I’d accept Sam’s style of football forever if it meant us staying up and not plummeting down the lower divisions.
