No, I said it will probably include only 1,2 or maybe none of their first choice team that Tuchel will pick for the FA Cup Final 3 days later. The team they will play vs Leeds will likely be Kepa, Kenedy, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Chalobah, Sarr, Barkley, Loftus Cheek, Jorginho, Pulisic, Ziyech, Lukaku.

That team could still beat Leeds but Chelsea are definitely prioritising the FA Cup as it would have to be a surprising collapse for them not to qualify for the CL now. We will see what team they put out.
We shall see but they havnt got CL sown up yet.

Chelsea’s ownership is in flux so his job is very safe. He is well liked by Chelsea fans but he will heavily rotate for the Leeds game because winning a cup and finishing 3rd is a good season. They will not finish 5th. Spurs have to go to Anfield and Spurs and Arsenal have to play each other. I think the top 4 battle will be over by the time we play Arsenal which is why I think we can get something there.

How is his job safe when he could have a new boss in the next month?

Also...

Alls im gonna say is that we have 7 from 9 at home since I've been going through the left turnstile.

You're welcome.

Well keep going through that turnstile mate please. My son here, who doesn’t start school until September, has had enough…

Yes, He could be sacked by the new owner because they want their own manager. But in Football terms, his job is about as safe as it can be. The fans love him. He will finish 3rd, in the latter stages of the CL and in an FA Cup Final. There is no obvious choice to replace him, either. He will still be in charge next season unless he resigns.

Realistically:

  • I think Burnley get belted away to Villa and Spurs and Newcastle are going to want to sign off with a win. Maximum of 3-5 points more for them (outside bet of 6)
  • Leeds will get zip from the next two and have it all to do against Brighton and Brentford to get all 6 points. Maximum of 3-5 points more for them (outside bet of 6)
  • We can realistically expect 4 points from the last two home games and maybe 2/3 points in the final 3 aways. 6/7 realistic points there.

This might come down to GD. Burnley aren't out of our range on that: a 2/3 goal snotting from Spurs plus us beating someone by a couple or so and we have the advanatge...and obviously Leeds are knackered on GD.

We need Spurs Arsenal and Chelsea to stay in a battle for 4th for the next week or so as that will be a big decider in our battle. Need Arsenal to beat Leeds, then Spurs to beat Arsenal to keep them in contention as dont see them getting anything at RS. 2 wins should do it for Chelsea so lets hope they draw or lose v Wolves so they need a win v Leeds

Spurs have
Liverpool A
Arsenal H
Burnley H
Norwich A

Arsenal
Leeds H
Spurs A
Newcastle A
Everton H

Chelsea
