He'd write the Dooms day book
i think @matty1878 would be a book on his own tbh, he has even found religion
Faltering at already relegated club's has been an issue for us for a few years. However, we've typically had little to play for in those games.
Now we've everything's to play for.
A massive opportunity to pull away when you look at Burnley and Leeds fixtures.
Just no messing, go there and get the job done.
shall i? lol
Not too worried about them having a point to prove as a team, if they were the sort of team to take that mentality they’d have taken it in the games that matter.Worried me after seeing the Watford keeper Ben Foster calling the players out as not good enough and giving up after 60 mins.
They could have a point to prove and didn't they beat us 5-2 at Goodison?
Just want us to get enough points to be safe asap.
So do we not have a point to prove also?Worried me after seeing the Watford keeper Ben Foster calling the players out as not good enough and giving up after 60 mins.

They've lost 11 home matches in a row.
Statistically, scientifically, there's no better place to go if you want an away win in the Premier League.
I'm not saying we'll definitely win, but raw probability is on our side.
Agreed. I think we MUST go there in search of the win - FFS, they have lost 11 in a row at home and are relegated - but we absolutely MUST NOT lose. Frankly, if we lose there we deserve whatever comes to us because we would have lost at Norwich, Burnley, and Watford. That series of results demands demotion.Obviously we've got to be aiming for three points against Watford but its worth remembering that a point isn't something to be sniffed at either as every single one counts at this stage.
It would be a trilogy.i think @matty1878 would be a book on his own tbh, he has even found religion
Yep, anything can happen. Any complacency needs stamping out, but I don't think the away fans will allow that to creep in.Statistically there was little chance of Burnley scoring against us but they did.
We just have to treat it like a cup final and if not out play them, out work them. I'm confident we can get something but I'm also apprehensive that there could be something like a sending off/injury/VAR decision that goes against us taking the result with it. Playing on paper is easy, we just need to go and do it.
Faltering at relegated clubs is part of a bigger problem that still has me worried- going back to Ancelotti and beyond we’ve really struggled in general against poor teams. We get great results against better teams because we can soak it up and counter but the last few years we have really struggled in games where we are expected to make the running, because we lack the creativity to do so.Faltering at already relegated club's has been an issue for us for a few years. The players must know now what’s required for the final few games. Of course things can go against us but I’d be confident that we’ll be safe as long as the players keep putting in the same amount of effort they have for the last few games.Yep, anything can happen.
