I realise I run the risk of peeing a few people off writing this, but I really fail to see how we won’t be in another relegation battle next season.

Too many really bad players to offload, already know we have to sell to buy and we only have two real sellable assets in Pickford and Richarlison.

This job has become a poisoned chalice due to the awful players occupying squad numbers.

Aye but let's all stop going on about what happens in the summer. It's been widespread across the fanbase this week. We're all guilty of it. But we aren't safe yet.

Maybe people want to get away from the misery of relegation battle.

Good post. Reading some on here you would think that because we won two games we suddenly became the new Man City and will absolutely thrash every team who had the misfortune to play us. Unfortunately we are not very good at the moment and staying up will be welcomed. Thrashing teams week in week out will have to wait

Call me superstitious, but when everyone is solely focused on one goal and knowing that that is the only goal that matters, then that's what helps.

I mean we had the better of the game tonight, created chances, we just didn’t have the conviction to turn 1-2 into goals
