If Calvert-Lewin stays fit and gives us that attacking presence, even if he's not on form, we'll be sound.
I think having that focal point is so important to us.

Haven't played a double-header since I was 19. Can't see a downside for the likes of Gomez and Allan.Yes.
It will save fans a packet on travel costs ?
8 games there are very winnable and 4 from those with two draws likely sees us up. Plus who knows what we can finally do if we hit a bit of form and confidence.Imagine the moaning from across the park if they had to play the Geordies (3pm) then Man City @ 5.30 straight after each other on the same day (26th Feb!). Meanwhile Frank will just get on with it and probably settle for 4 points!
Trippier broken foot..

Now, indulge me for a second... Borehamwood and then a lesser side and we're in the quarters. Say we make the final... even if we lost to a side in the CL spots we make Europe, right?
EVERONE ON SUPER FRANK'S TOUR BUS.
I don't anymore. I think our mobility will allow us to attack on the ground and have options as to who will score. A fully fit DCL will be great but to my mind not as essential as it was. Think he is ace by the way but relieved we will not be as reliant. If Calvert-Lewin stays fit and gives us that attacking presence, even if he's not on form, we'll be sound.

It has, so we’ll just have to win it thenMassive loss for them. Praise went to ASM but for me, Trippier has been their best performer.
Is FA cup runner up still awarded a european spot?
Thought that rule had changed.
18-20 points there all being well!!?Look at this run in
How can anyone be confident

Going to be tough getting points from the next two gamesThere will be ebb and flow in the table, which means pressure will be on for some games more than others.
It would be nice to be able to put a run of sorts together and turn defeats into draws, especially away.
We just need to keep the points ticking over, its successive defeats that cause alarm bells to ring.
The good thing about last week was that the team have already shown some grit in adversity, by responding in the manner they did to the Newcastle defeat. There was a lot of anxiety all round in the proceeding days, and the players responded to it in fine fashion.
I think we will get a point from both games. What one good performance does to ones optimism ?Going to be tough getting points from the next two games
I live in Melbourne and I was in bed listening to the Wimbledon match with the earplugs in. It's hard to describe how I felt whenI was at the Wimbledon match and listened to the Coventry match on a radio in Australia and you were spot on
Goodison was excellent yesterday from min 1.
