Exactly this.

no idea why everyone is cryarsing all the time.
Because some of us don't see 9-10 points from those games

Wolves - Draw
Newcastle - Loss (they are now bang in form)
Manchester United - Loss
Crytsal Palace - Win
Chelsea - Loss
Brentford - Win

7 points at most, which is why we are still worried.

Reposting this from last week:
Update: Didn't get battered by Man City and should have drawn. Positive! Spurs are up and down, so maybe a draw?

I think we'll survive, but looking at these fixtures it's pretty difficult, and its going to kill our nerves!
Say we need another 15 points to reach 37, here's my hope for the results below:
and it needs a couple of really tough results out of the ordinary ! They are marked **
Our remaining games:

Man City - home L but not a thrashing
Spurs - away L
Wolves - home D
Newcastle - home W **
Watford - away D**
West Ham - away D**
Man U - home D
Palace - home W **
RS - away L
Chelsea - home D**
Leicester - away L
Brentford - home W
Arsenal - away L

Games to be rearranged - Burnley - away L and Leicester - home. D
I'm hoping for 'not a thrashing' cos that's a positive result from Man City, and in the middle there a 6 match unbeaten run. It's going to take something that hasn't been done this season, even if we look at it objectively!
GULP!!! How did we get where we are !! 15 points from the last 15 games is rubbish, but really tough to get. Thanks Rafael :) EDIT:Thanks, Koeman, Moshiri,Allardyce & Silva. Thanks Carlo for bailing. Thanks Delph for your leadership.

Listening to Talksport on Saturday and they were talking about the magical “40 points” thing, they basically said that this season it could be as low as 34 points and still survive. They said that on average over the last 20 years the team in 18th place finished on 35 points, which means 36 points would be enough.
Obviously none of us want it to get to needing a result on the last day. Part of me is still hoping we go in a mad winning run and pull well clear.

We have Leicester to play at home as well.

We're going to be in the relegation zone tonight.

14 games left to play and we will be in the bottom three and set for relegation unless we can immediately turn around our form.

Is there actually anybody left who thinks we're not going down?

I keep reading the "our home form will see us stay up". Well, since October we've won 2 out of 9 games at home, 10 goals scored, 15 conceded.

By comparison, in our last 10 away games we've gained 2 points from 30 available.

We're going down.

I don't expect Leicester to get anything tonight, because they are an ideal opponent for Burnley. We need to be prepared to go into the bottom 3, because we don't play again till Monday. We also don't seem to be playing midweek games when others are playing, and it makes little sense. If we win on Thursday, then we will have 4 midweek games to fit in during April and early May.

We have no control over other teams and are going to need to put some results together ourselves. Burnley overtaking us tonight will make the table look very bad, but will not mean we are doomed or whatever. We need to keep our nerve and show bottle. Lampard said it on Saturday and it was completely true.

I don't know why but I think we're gonna do spurs, wolves and Newcastle and take 9 points

Call me mad or optimistic but just got a feeling

+ I can't go into the games being negative what's the point? The players can't either

I'm confident we'll get wins from our next two home games tbh

You simply cannot predict anything with certainty but if - it's a big if - we can keep what we've got in midfield and attack fit, then we should have enough.

We need 15 points I reckon for safety. 14 games to get them. It's going to be tight.

We're only not playing this week cause of the FA Cup tie, mate. Burnley and Leicester are both out of the cup.
