We'll have all weekend to watch and see how the other results pan out. The key games this weekend are

Leicester v Leeds
Burnley v Chelsea
Newcastle v Brighton
Norwich v Brentford
Watford v Arsenal

So we are looking for Leicester, Chelsea, Brighton & Arsenal to win. Then someone is definitely gaining ground on us in the Norwich match. Hard to know what the best score is in that one, but probably a draw or Norwich win.

In all likelihood, I expect Newcastle to get a win and wouldn't be at all surprised to see Burnley or Watford get a point.

Hopefully Leeds don't get some sort of new manager bounce.

Burnley Chelsea I can see being a draw

Can see Brighton getting something

Can see Norwich winning there.

And Arsenal.

In the next six games they play Chelsea,Southampton,City and West Ham.

Not that easy.
West ham stinks. They also play Brentford, norwich, watford, and villa. Westham/saints and wolves could be a draw. Hell, we couldv had a draw vs City. I think Burnley has a better program than us, or Brentford

Burnley have a really easy program the coming weeks. They just come from a 7 point week and I dont think they are beaten just yet. Leeds and Brentford is my aim. Leeds also have a relative easy program coming. Brentford have a really difficult program coming. Brentford also have 3 games more than us. I put money on them slugging it out with us.

No they don’t.

They are 2 points off top 4 what are you on about?

Up to Liverpool away in April we have a more favourable run of fixtures than Burnley. All of those games are opportunities to take points.

We have to help ourselves, not worry about other sides saving us like Chelsea did againstBolton in 98
By the time that Bolton game came round against Chelsea away we were that paranoid about the result that we had Bolton in our heads like a peak Real Madrid convinced they would win.
Vialli done us a huge favour that day putting a full strength team out despite having a European final the following midweek, Many Chelsea fans booed there own team when they scored prefering us to go down.

Vialli said afterwards it was important to him to play it fair, always respected him for that

We should build a statue to Gianluca Vialli - the one opposition manager I have any time for. His attitude alone saved us in 1998. He had a Cup Winners' Cup final the following week against Stuttgart to prepare for, but he insisted his side went out and attacked. A great player and a fine man.
