I can name every FA Cup winning team from 1960 to 1990. Since then they just disintegrate- apart from 95 of course. Yup, I have to accept old age is catching up with meTo be honest mate my memory from that era is great . From around 2001 to yesterday it’s awful. I can’t remember what I had for my tea last night lol
getting older is a factor for me . But Drugs ( not proud ) and drink play a massive role in my eroding memory .i don’t rarely drink anymore though and my memory is still terrible .I can name every FA Cup winning team from 1960 to 1990. Two of their fans this morning on the radio, a 28 and 23 year old. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when they admitted they had known nothing other than success from their team.
Scary how the memory goes, I can't remember anything about infamous matches I been to over the yearsI can name every FA Cup winning team from 1960 to 1990. Since then they just disintegrate- apart from 95 of course. Yup, I have to accept old age is catching up with me
I've just realised what I've done. I was reading about Chelsea then somehow in response to one of the posts I managed to click reply on a topic about Newcastle. What??

I know, the game plan was so obvious from Boreham, frustrate, and they did, boos at half tme, really, our home games wont save us unless the team gets full supportSo much for fortress Goodison helping us stay up, the crowd reverted to type after the initial 15mins and the players could feel the anxious negativity from the crowd. If we are going to stay up the home fans need to keep the positivity levels up.
I cant go as much as i used to but the frustration levels within Goodison kick in super quick and the whole tone changes even quicker. wasnt expecting a Goodison Roar last night but was super quiet, is why The Wood Army baited us all night as away fans seem to on a regular basis. So much for fortress Goodison helping us stay up, the crowd reverted to type after the initial 15mins and the players could feel the anxious negativity from the crowd.
