Newcastle won 5 out of the last 6. Plenty mocking them getting Howe but he has turned them round.
They sacked their manager at the right time and were able to spend tons of £££ in Jan

There was genuinely an Everton fan on Twitter before our game with them who said Trippier (I know he's injured now) wasn't an improvement on what they had at right-back.

Weirdly enough they also thought Patterson would be walking into our team

Might be a good idea for our lads to turn up on Monday. Another loss there would be demoralising - performances at home much better under Lampard but 4 defeats out of 5 in the league under him just not good enough at this stage- need points.

Watford. Norwich. Brentford. Benitez did some damage but those three games are unforgivable.

Leeds play Villa and Norwich at home next week. Burnley play Brentford.

Absolutely dreading how the table will look next Sunday if we don’t win at least one.

I’ve always said Howe was a good manager, bizarre to me that people didn’t think he did a great job at Bournemouth.
If you get relegated from the PL you generally lose your job. But he did a fantastic job at Bournemouth. Problem for Howe will be the pressure next season. If they aren’t pushing for Europe he’ll be out.

It’s not do or die but a win at spurs would be huge for us. It’s not impossible but given our away form it’s unlikely.

I think it’s guaranteed we will drop into the bottom three at some point as other teams seem to be playing two/three fixtures to our one.

All these games in hand are going to be crammed in which isn’t going to be overly helpful to us.

Other than Newcastle I think we did alright the way the other scores went. I agree with you though, 3 points a week tomorrow and I'll be happy.
