Assume they will go back to behind closed doors before they take the nuclear option of a months break? Even taking a single weekend break is genie out of the bottle stuff, it will end up being extended. Postpone and reschedule specific games as needed (hell they stiffed us to suit City last season at a moments notice) but lets not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Plus throw in the Qatar WC to the mix next Christmas and there frankly isnt time to take a break over the coming weeks. Quite the pickle.

They could always hold the WC in Jan or Feb 2023 I guess

Realistically last night was a rousing game but we only added 1 pt to our season. We are still in 14th. The Newcastle and Leeds results were better for us than the result at Chelsea.
How far we have fallen so quickly.

Dunno really, we needed something, anything, and a point helps. Those sort of points are probably going to be why we get to about 45 points and relative safety rather than only 40 and a lot of unnecessary stress in April time.

Not that it's in any way good enough to get to 45 points. It would be a pretty dreadful return. But this is the relegation thread, and you aren't going down with over 40 points.

Not bothered what he says to be honest :coffee:
Especially when he's basing us going down on a team that held the mighty Chelsea to a draw while missing DCL, Gray, Digne, Mina, Allan and Richarlison plus other injuries to lesser players like Coleman, Rondon, Davies etc.

So a team of reserves can pick up points but when the first team is completely fit we're going down? Maybe we could go down if injuries and bad luck persists but it won't be based on his logic there. What a tosser, he's just fuming
