The correct answer is that injuries decimated us and a lot of fans decided to wreck our own season.
The correct answer is we had injuries and the kopite was unable to adapt his style or formation and instead, as predicted, doubled down on his stubbornness and watched us plummet down the table in the most passive way ever - because he’s right all the time y’know.

Then decided to sell a creative left back and replace with 2 fullbacks and a winger that are clearly not ready.

It sounds like you have a guilty conscience.

….I genuinely think we will go this year, it seems a perfect storm brewing.
I agree mate , in 94 we got 8 points from the last 11 games in 98 it was 11 but looking back I don't think I had the same sense of doom as I do now.
This team are quite capable of going till the end without another win.We have 5 matches against top 7 sides.
I feel that many of the current squad no longer see there future at the club and the season's end can not come quick enough.

Somehow avoiding defeat at Watford & Burnley is essential, it keeps both of them at bay

This is key. I've never imagined us so low and desperate just to avoid defeat against the likes of Watford and Burnley.

It's a reflection of our current league position but also a reflection of how low our stock as a club has sunk, when we're hoping we can out do the teams in the bottom 3 just to stay up.

Three league wins since the 25th of September tells it's own story really.

People say that there's no need to worry, that we'll get the wins we need etc, but so far it ain't happening. We've got some very difficult games ahead of us as well.

Of course we're all hoping for the best, but the facts are that since the end of September, this teams performances have relegation written all over them.

Relax for a week lads. Don't do it to yourselves.

Total Recall.webp

I've been convinced for two months because of the shocking away form and I mainly blame the players. I am just hoping beyond hope we can pull a surprise result out from somewhere surely there's a point where these players need to realise they will have relegating Everton on their cv?! Or are they just looking at their next moves? The only thing that could save us is Burnley and Watford being even worse or us suddenly winning a few games. Eleven games to save the club.
