Burnley and Watford were never going to beat liverpool and Man City but Brentford beating Chelsea is bad.
Yep, another team pulling off a big shock result to add to the others around us getting shock results at times over the weeks, we need to get one, for me.

Watford play Leeds and Brentford the next 2 home,
Burnley off course play us and Norwich away the next week

Leeds are only still in it if you don't think they win another game, Burnley and Watford need to win 3 more games than Leeds to overtake them.

Given Burnley have won 3 all season that seems unlikely.

All on us need the players to finally give us what we deserve a performance till the end of season and get us clear. Lets start it from the game tonorow

I didn't see that coming, but Chelsea had their flip flops on their today assured of a CL place petty much and resting for the CL QFs.

Upside from that one for me today is that Brentford have their flip flops against us at Goodison.

Overall I'd take that today:

Watford almost toast and we have 3 points on them with 3 games in hand.
Burnley 4 points behind and now a game less to play than us.
Leeds really needed to get the win but didn't and though 5 points ahead are very catchable with our 4 games in hand.
Brentford was a poor one for us, but as said above: silver lining is that they wont want a war against us at Goodison.

If we win tomorrow it'd be huge for us....even if we draw it will be a kick in the bollocks for Norwich, Watford, Burnley and Leeds.

What we have to do is starting to look a bit clearer. We obviously want to try and catch someone, but it looks more like its all going to come down to finishing 17th ahead of the current bottom 4.

We have the games remaining and we have the points advantage, but we need to show the fight to stay ahead of them. Every game is important, but the Burnley and Watford games are going to be the biggest ones. We need to try and get a minimum of 2 points from them.

Brentford winning today is far from ideal but our 2 immediate rivals lost so it could have been worse. A result tomorrow would help A LOT.

Win tomorrow and Wednesday which isn't happening like but if we did then you would think we should be safe.
3/4 points would be dreamland stuff given our away form. I'd even just take a draw v Burnley. 2 points or more in the next 2 games will be very significant.
