Overall I'd take that today:

Watford almost toast and we have 3 points on them with 3 games in hand.
Burnley 4 points behind and now a game less to play than us.
Leeds really needed to get the win but didn't and though 5 points ahead are very catchable with our 4 games in hand.
Brentford was a poor one for us, but as said above: silver lining is that they wont want a war against us at Goodison.

If we win tomorrow it'd be huge for us....even if we draw it will be a kick in the bollocks for Norwich, Watford, Burnley and Leeds.
Reading that is all very comforting until reality bites and you realise Everton are really struggling to put any decent form together and will find it very difficult to scramble any points together before the season ends (thankfully)

I disagree.

We've played 10 games under Lampard and won 4 of them...and one of those we lost we were robbed of a draw.

Even if we replicate those results in the last 11 games to come we will stay up.

Well no, we have played 7 league games and won 2, lost 5, cup games have no relevance.

So if we replicate those results and lose the important games, we go down.

True but we have a tough schedule coming up. It will not be for the faint hearted

Technically David, we were robbed of a penalty... it would have needed to be scored ;)
Yes, that's true.

I argued at the time it was a clear handball but it looked like Richarliosn was offside. More than that incident, though, I'd say over the 90 minutes we deserved a draw.

And that's the ultimate point: set up like that and make that our method and we'll be ok.

…does that include Cup games against the likes of Boreham Wood?

What is his return in league games & how many points has Lampard got away from home? This is what matters.

It will be. It'll be touch and go. But dont write off the 'unwinnable' fixtures just yet as this time of the season throws up peculiar results - as we saw today at Chelsea. Priorities trump effort in some cases.

You know the answer to all that.

The trend is a positive one at home, away from home not so.

If we do what we've done at home so far under Lampard we'll be ok.

...although I'm not sure that's what you'd like to hear.
