You sold your soul to a kopite Dave.

You are spent here, you will forever be tainted.

I support Everton managers. I dont care who they are or where they came from. Everton take priority. If the galloot had ever been made manager he'd have had my support. That's just the way it is with me. The club is all...no man sitting in the dugout can ever make me want to destabilise this club.

I've said before: there's going to be some people with bad consciences if we take the drop. I wont be one of them.

Well last time I checked I didnt manage Everton to 1 win in 14 or give my support to a kopite turd, so my conscience will be quite clear.

You and your cronies will not be seeing Valhalla.

….not sure how the majority of fans can have bad conscious’ when the support has been so good.

it might be the case for those that put Benitez on a pedestal and still hold a candle for the most obnoxious appointment in the clubs history - not naming names, we know who they are.

The stink of denial is all over this post.

fat frank is a disaster, don't get me wrong.

but not even he can balls this up.
As I’ve said, no chance of relegation this season.

However, the only reason for this is the first few games of the season. After that? Relegation form 100%.

so, next season? I’m really really worried. What’s going to change? What’s going to be better?

I'm not so confident myself. I reckon we're right in it now with Leeds getting a draw today and Brentford winning.

It's between us, Watford and Burnley imo. Both of which we've to play away and at the very least we need to hold them to a draw. Losing both will put us in the crap.

Barring any unexpected results, I reckon Watford get another 6 pts and finish on 28 pts. Not a massive worry but Burnley could easily get another 12 points based on some of their remaining fixtures which puts them on 33 pts. I've worked that out as a worst case scenario where both teams beat us.

So we need 34 points, another 3 wins, and if we do lose to Watford and Burnley that leaves Leicester H, Palace and Brentford as the only "winnable" games I see. The rest are write offs barring some miracle that we hammer a better side or two.

Beat the two below us and we won't even need to worry imo but that's easier said that done.

34 points is definitely not the worst case scenario. It could definitely be higher than that.

These games in hand are going to keep us out of reach.

Regardless of tomorrow's result, this is another round of fixtures gone by now whereby we remain out of reach from below. They will run out of fixtures eventually.

As for Leeds: 4 games in hand we have and 5 points behind them? Let's put it this way: if Burnley - who we lead by 4 points had 3 or 4 games in hand over us we'd be bricking it...and rightly so. Leeds are there to be chased down. That draw today was a bad result for them.
